Cortezian Indonesia Supports the Food Needs of the Elderly in East Bekasi

Supported by Wuling Motors, donating food staples to the Budi Dharma Margahayu Nursing Home
Bekasi, May 7th 2021 – The community of Wuling Cortez owners, Cortezian Indonesia, in collaboration with Wuling Motors (Wuling) today visited the Budi Dharma Margahayu Nursing Home, East Bekasi, handed over food staple donations to the center administrators and the elderly. This activity is a form of Cortezian Indonesia’s concern in the Holy Month of Ramadhan for people in need, especially the elderly. This social activity is also part of the Ramadhan Care 2021 series.
“The pandemic situation is not an obstacle for us to care and share with others in need, especially in the atmosphere of the Holy Month of Ramadhan. This underlies us to collaborate with Wuling to provide food aids to the elderly at Budi Dharma Margahayu Nursing Home, Bekasi. Hopefully, this support can be a new hope and encouragement for the administrators and residents of the nursing home for a better life,” said Kuntarto Rachmat as President of Cortezian Indonesia.
With the support of Wuling, Cortezian Indonesia symbolically handed over 100 food staple packages to the management of the Budi Dharma Margahayu Nursing Home, East Bekasi as a form of concern for the Cortez user community to the local elderly. This synergy was carried out as part of a series of social initiatives from Wuling entitled Ramadhan Care 2021.
Ramadhan Care 2021 itself is an activity initiated by Wuling in collaboration with various parties such as the Automotive Journalists Forum (FORWOT) and its official community to help various parties in need this Ramadan. Based on the spirit of ‘Drive For A Better Life’ from Wuling, it is hoped that this social activity can be a moral booster and provide benefits for the recipients towards a better life.
Budi Dharma Margahayu Nursing Home welcomed the donation delivered by Cortezian Indonesia. “We would like to convey our appreciation and gratitude to Cortezian Indonesia and Wuling Motors for the support that has been conveyed through this donation to us administrators and residents of this Elderly Hall. This is very helpful and provides encouragement for each party to continue to live side by side, to rise from this difficult time,” said Andi Hanindito, as Director of Social Rehabilitation for the Elderly, Ministry of Social Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, who is the supervisor of the nursing home.
