In collaboration with Rumah Zakat realizing concern in the Indonesian health sector
Tangerang Selatan, 12 November 2019 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) today handed over 5 (five) units of Confero which are operated as ambulances and mobile clinic to Rumah Zakat at Wuling Arista Bintaro, South Tangerang. The event entitled 'Handover Ceremony CSR Wuling Motors - Rumah Zakat' is the official beginning of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in the field of health for Indonesian people.
"Coinciding with the National Health Day, we are actually manifesting corporate social care and affirming our commitment to Indonesia, which is contributing to the health sector through a program with Rumah Zakat. We hope this activity can make it easier for the community to get access to affordable health facilities, which synergize with the spirit of Drive For A Better Life,” explained Xu Feiyun as President Director of Wuling Motors.
Wuling donated 4 (four) units of Confero as ambulances serving in three regions, namely 1 (one) unit in East Jakarta, 1 (one) unit in Cikarang, and 2 (two) units in Yogyakarta. Then, 1 (one) other Confero unit operates as a mobile clinic in Bogor. Furthermore, Rumah Zakat’s local representatives will operate the unit to provide health assistance to communities in these various areas.

Regarding the specifications of the Confero unit used, it has a spacious cabin and is powered by a 1,500cc engine with 107 HP at 5,800 rpm and a maximum torque of 142 Nm at 3,800-4,400 rpm. The competency is combined with a five-speed manual transmission. All donated Confero units have been adjusted so that they have facilities such as a fixed central gas system, companion seating, medical equipment compartments, sliding infuse, anti-bacterial flooring, LED flashlights, fire extinguishers, adjustable examination lights, adjustable spotlight lighting, and ambulance stretchers.
Rumah Zakat also welcomed positively the initiative carried out by Wuling. This philanthropic institution, which was founded in 1998, is committed to keeping empowering the community through four pillars, one of which is health so that it is in line with Wuling's CSR program.
