Wuling Officialy Brings Cortez CT and ACT Confero S to Palembang
Two Wuling’s latest MPV variants to be marketed in South Sumatra
Palembang, 15 May 2019 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) continued the momentum of launching Cortez CT and Confero S ACT in Sumatra Island, especially in Palembang City. In collaboration with PT Maju Global Motor, Wuling introduced the two newest variants of its flagship MPV to the people in South Sumatra. Cortez CT 'The New Advanced MPV' is sold at prices ranging from Rp243,000,000 to Rp.293,000,000, while Confero S ACT is traded at the price of Rp203,800,000 (OTR Palembang).
"South Sumatra has the potential in the growing automotive market of Sumatra. This encouraged us to present Cortez CT and ACT Confero S in order to complete the variants of Wuling MPV series. In line with the spirit of 'Drive For A Better Life', we introduced these two new variants in response to the need for MPV vehicles in the city of Palembang and its surrounding areas,” Sulistyo Nugroho as Regional Sales Manager Wuling Motors said.

Wuling Cortez CT carries a 1,500cc 4-cylinder engine with Turbocharger from Honeywell. The engine produces a performance with maximum power of 140 HP and a torque of 250 NM which is channeled to the front wheels through Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) for types C and L, or an opition of 6-speed manual transmission on type C.
Modern features are also presented on Cortez CT with technologies such as One Push Start / Stop Button, Keyless Entry, to Emergency Stop Signal (ESS). Not only that, the element of comfort still felt through the spacious cabin space and 7-seater configuration. Then, elegant nuances arise in the interior of this MPV thanks to the ambience of brightly colored semi-leather seats and modern panels in several parts. The new Cortez series variant comes in five color options, namely Pristine White, Dazzling Silver, Aurora Silver, Starry Black and Burgundy Red.

On the other hand, Confero S ACT comes with Schaeffler's e-clutch transmission which makes it easy to change gears without the clutch pedal, while still maintaining the sensation of manual transmission lever. This technology is also efficient in its maintenance costs. Furthermore, a stylish youthful design was applied to the interior that was seen from a black colored seat with red stitch accent and a red carbon style panel.
Low MPV Wuling is also supports with spacious cabin space until the third row. Not only that, a variety of new features such as Electric Adjustable Foldable Mirror, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) and driver seat height adjuster is also present in this new variant. Confero S ACT is now available in five color choices, namely Carnelian Red, Pristine White, Dazzling Silver, Aurora Silver and Starry Black.
In addition to launching Wuling Cortez CT and ACT Confero S in the city of Palembang, Wuling also held an exhibition that lasted until May 19, 2019. Visitors who are curious about the two new MPV variants of Wuling can do a test drive with the available units during the exhibition.
