Wuling Participates in Indonesia Electric Motor Show 2019

Presenting Wuling E200, Wuling E100, Virtual Simulator and Wuling Almaz with WIND innovation

Jakarta, 4 September 2019 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) participated in the Indonesia Electric Motor Show (IEMS) entitled "Electric Vehicle for Smart Transportation" on 4-5 September 2019 at Balai Kartini. Wuling presented a variety of product lines in this event which are Wuling E200 and Almaz, Smart Technology SUV, equipped with Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND) innovation at P1 & S2 booth covering an area of 75m2, plus the Wuling E100 in the test drive area. The visitors also have the opportunity to try out the future driving innovations through the virtual simulator.

"At this IEMS 2019 event, we present Wuling E200 and Wuling E100 to move towards the era of vehicle electrification in the Indonesian automotive market. This is a manifestation of our readiness to participate in technological advancements in the country's automotive sector, supported by the spirit of Drive For A Better Life, "explained Dian Asmahani, Senior Brand Manager Wuling Motors.

In the IEMS 2019 exhibition, Wuling presented the Wuling E200, an electric microcar powered by a 29 KW electric motor with maximum distance of 250 km. The exterior of Wuling E200 has a geometric design with a futuristic character. There are 11 storage compartments and a compact, modern dashboard in the Wuling E200 cabin. Various driving features are embedded in the Wuling E200 such as keyless entry, start stop button, electric parking brake (EPB), Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity, also Intelligent Auto-Driving.

Visitors also have the opportunity to try the sensation of driving with the Wuling E100 available in the IEMS 2019 test drive area. This compact car is strengthened with an electric motor that produces a maximum power of 29 KW and 110 NM torque. With a full battery condition, Wuling E100 can cover a distance of 250 km with a maximum speed of up to 100 km / hour.

In addition, Wuling also presented Almaz with the tagline of 'Drive Unlimited Way' with WIND innovation. This SUV is supported by a 1,500 turbo gasoline engine that is capable of producing 140 HP and 250 Nm of torque which is channeled through a responsive CVT transmission and equipped with a choice of eco and sport driving modes, also 8-speed manual simulation. Furthermore, Almaz also has a 6-speed manual transmission option.

The latest variant of Almaz is equipped with WIND which supports smart ecosystem. Voice commands on Smart Multimedia 10.4" interactive touchscreen allow users to turn on, turn off, or operate various vehicle features, such as air conditioners, windows, panoramic sunroof, access entertainment features such as music or radio, make phone calls, run applications such as Wuling Link or TPMS , increase or decrease the volume, and ask the current date and time.

Almaz now also comes with a 7-seater configuration and still has a variety of modern features ranging from panoramic sunroof, start-stop button, keyless remote, keyless entry, Infinity by Harman sound system, and 360^o camera.
