21 Media Experiencing the Sensation of Driving 142 KM With Confero S

Bali, 13 October, 2017 – Wuling Confero S has successfully traveled a distance of 142 km started from 11^th October until 13^th October in Bali through The Spacious Journey with Confero S Event. This activity is held to answer the curiosity of the media that been wanting to experience a long-distance driving with Wuling’s first MPV product. There are 6 units of Confero S including 1 units Wuling Mobile Service that has successfully completed Pulau Dewata route.

The Test-drive event started with a visit to Wuling Bali dealership located in Jl. Gatot Subroto Timur No.234, Denpasar and a flag off event. Afterwards, the media continue the journey to Pantai Serangan and challenged by bumpy road contour and sandy road condition. In the location, Wuling Motors representative conducted a turtle release procession to symbolize our long-term commitment in Indonesia, then closed with another route to Visesa Village, Ubud.

On the next day, aside from enjoying the convenience of driving with Wuling first MPV, the journalist team was also involved in educational activity at Secret Garden Village, including hand soap crafting and getting to know Indonesian coffee. The event continued with a visit to Puri Taman Sari, where journalists can get to know deeply about traditional house of Bali and how to make Gebongan or beautiful arrangement of various fruits, flowers and cakes that represent Balinese and Hinduism tradition. During the expedition, the team was challenged with hilly road condition, yet the team has succeed travelled to the destination with Confero S.

Closing the journey, the team was travelled 142 kilometer with Confero S heading from the current location to the International Ngurah Rai Airport. “We hope that this event provides a sense of the comfort of long-distance driving with Confero S. Through this activity, Wuling Confero S has successfully traveled 142 km distance without experiencing obstacles, thus customers do not have to worry about the convenience of The Real Spacious Family MPV,” said Dian Asmahani as brand manager Wuling Motors.

3 units of the highest variant of Confero S, L Lux+, 1 unit Confero S 1.5C Lux, and 2 unit medium variants of Confero, S 1.5C Lux+ were provided for this test-drive event, also supported by 1 unit of Wuling Mobile Service (WMS). All the car is powered by 1.500 cc engine capacity which generated 107 HP at 5800 rpm as well as maximum torque of 142 Nm in the range of 3800 to 4,400 rpm combined with five-speed manual transmission.
