A show of competence for the best Wuling Sales and Aftersales Teams in Indonesia

Bogor, 25 November 2019 – PT SGMW Motor Indonesia (Wuling) today held the final round of the National Skill Contest 2019 at Aston Bogor Hotel & Resort. This competition is open for Sales Consultants, Service Advisors, Technicians, and Customer Care Officers (CCOs) from all Wuling dealership networks in the whole country. A total of 60 finalists consisting of 24 Sales Consultants, 12 Service Advisors, 12 Customer Care Officers and 12 Wuling Technicians compete to become champions in each category.

“This National Skill Contest provides opportunity for Sales Consultants to improve their abilities and understand what consumers need so they can always provide the best service. We hope this event will also be able to strengthen a good partnership between Wuling and the sales employees also to maintain a good partnership atmosphere,” said Chen Yicheng as Wuling Motors Network Development Director.

In sales category at the National Skill Contest 2019, participants must pass three stages in this competition, starting from the first stage – local, second stage – regional, and the third stage – finals. In the final round, 24 participants who successfully passed were assessed by three factors; fleet presentation, product presentation, as well as the ability to handle objections and close the sales to be re-selected to 5 finalists.

After that, a further evaluation of the 5 selected finalists was carried out to determine the first to fifth place. In addition, there is one favorite champion chosen through voting mechanism through Wuling National Skill Competition website. Sales Consultant Setiani from Wuling Arista Lampung gets the highest score from the judges and wins the first prize in this year’s competition.

Turning to the aftersales category, regional stage selection has been held in 10 cities, followed by 80 Service Advisors, 80 Technicians, and 46 Customer Care Officers. All Service Advisor participants have passed selection tests on basic knowledge about Wuling brand, service operations standard until complaint handling. For Customer Care Officers, the assessment criteria includes basic knowledge about Wuling brand, reminder, booking, follow-up, and complaint handling. Meanwhile, technician participants must go through an assessment process around regular maintenance and troubleshooting.

After going through the various processes, the first to third winner will respectively be chosen for Service Advisors, Customer Care Officers, and Technicians. Agung Maulana from Wuling Maju Motor Pondok Gede managed to occupy the first position as a Service Advisor in this competition. The Customer Care Officer won by Wegga Miftakhul Juliani from Wuling Perdana Sidoarjo, while the best technician who won was Muhammad Firza Aulia from Wuling Arista Cikokol.

“The National Skill Contest 2019 is a momentum in aftersales field, specifically for the Service Advisor Team, Customer Care Officer and Wuling Technicians, to show their best expertise and skills to serve Wuling consumers. With this competition, we can also see things that must be improved to provide excellent after-sales service, providing appropriate, fast and satisfying solutions for Wuling Motors customers,” explained Taufik S. Arief, Aftersales Director of Wuling Motors.

For additional information, the National Skill Contest 2019 has passed the regional selection stage for the Sales category on 5 September – 28 October 2019 and is divided into three areas: Jabodetabek (Area 1), Sumatra, West Java, Central Java (Area 2), and East Java, Bali Lombok, Kalimantan, Sulawesi (Area 3). For the Aftersales category, regional selection has been held on 8 September – 29 September 2019 in Bogor, Cikarang, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, Makassar, Balikpapan, Denpasar, Medan and Palembang.
