ABC Stories Lead Wuling to Become the No.1 EV Brand in Indonesia Until Q1 2024
Dominates Indonesia's electric vehicle segment with 64% market share in the period of January to March this year
Jakarta, April 30 2024 - Strengthening its commitment in Indonesia's electric vehicle segment, Wuling steps forward by introducing ABC Stories, a broad umbrella that summarizes Wuling's journey in providing environmentally friendly mobility solutions for various needs according to This is My EV Way. ABC Stories with Air ev and BinguoEV successfully led Wuling to become the no.1 EV brand in Indonesia by dominating 64% of the electric vehicle market at the beginning of the year until March 2024. In fact, BinguoEV is recorded as the best-selling electric vehicle today with sales of more than 3,000 units during this first quarter. Meanwhile, Wuling's first electric vehicle in Indonesia, Air ev, has also sold 700 units in total during the same period. Furthermore, Wuling continues its move with Cloud EV which can be ordered today.

Wuling's progress in the electric vehicle market is based on the spirit of Drive For A Green Life to provide green mobility innovations that make the environment cleaner. Realizing this commitment, armed with almost 7 years of experience in Indonesia, Wuling produces electric vehicles locally at the Wuling factory facility in Cikarang, West Java with TKDN of more than 40% so that it qualifies to get VAT incentives. To serve EV consumers, Wuling also has 150 dealer networks that are ready to provide sales and after-sales services in Indonesia. Wuling's eco-friendly vehicles also offer various conveniences for consumers ranging from odd-even free in Jakarta to low cost of ownership with free fast charging facilities at home. Moreover, Wuling is supported by various partners in financing to make it easier for consumers to own Wuling electric cars, including Wuling Finance.
Apart from vehicles, to provide convenience in environmentally friendly mobility, Wuling also provides a supporting ecosystem for its consumers. For every purchase of a Wuling electric vehicle, consumers are entitled to a free 7kW AC charger, installation, and additional power. Furthermore, consumers can easily charge at all Wuling dealerships and adapters are also available that can be used in various SPKLUs including those operated by PLN. Regarding fast charging, Wuling has operated 7 DC Charging points that can be used for free by Wuling electric vehicle users exclusively until May 2024.
Going further to Wuling's electric vehicle line, Air ev, which is Wuling's first electric car in Indonesia, was launched globally in August 2022. This compact electric vehicle with various conveniences has sold more than 14,000 units and won 11 prestigious awards in the automotive industry. Meanwhile, BinguoEV, an electric car with an iconic design that was officially presented in the country at the end of last year, has now been owned by more than 4,500 consumers. The Cloud EV, which was introduced in February, emphasizes premium comfort with a spacious cabin. Currently, Cloud EV can also be ordered by consumers.
