BinguoEV Successfully Completes a 1,300-plus Kilometre Journey from Jakarta – Mandalika
Wuling EV Hatchback participated in the EV Journey Experience event initiated by PLN Icon Plus.
Jakarta, 26 April 2024 - As a concrete manifestation of supporting the development of the electric vehicle ecosystem in Indonesia, Wuling Motors (Wuling) took part in the EV Journey Experience event held by PLN Icon Plus. In the activity that started in Jakarta on Sunday (21/4) and finished on Wednesday (24/04) yesterday, Wuling deployed 1 unit of BinguoEV Long Range 333 km AC/DC to travel more than 1,300 kilometers, which took the finish point at Mandalika International Circuit, West Nusa Tenggara.

The journey began with a send-off ceremony at the PLN Icon Plus office located in Mampang, South Jakarta. Afterwards, BinguoEV did fast charging using Wuling's DC charging stations that have been operating at KM 207A and KM 379A rest areas. Thereafter, BinguoEV charged at several points including SPKLU PLN Rest Area Sragen KM 519, Wuling Bless Surabaya dealers, SPKLU PLN Rest Area Utama Raya Situbondo, SPKLU Hotel Santika Banyuwangi, PLN ULP Mengwi Bali, Wuling Mataram dealer, and arrived at Mandalika International Circuit.

Regarding BinguoEV itself, Wuling's second electric vehicle in Indonesia features an iconic and timeless design, carrying compact dimensions that maximise space and comfort. BinguoEV is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 50 kWh. The BinguoEV used on this trip is powered by an IP67-standard lithium ferro-phosphate (LFP) battery with a capacity of 31.9 kWh with a range of up to 333 kilometres when the battery is fully charged.
Moreover, Wuling BinguoEV is also supported with modern driving features that add comfort when traveling long distances. One of them is the Cruise Control feature integrated on the left side of the steering wheel. This feature can be activated above 40 km/h to maintain a consistent speed and adjust the speed via the steering wheel button. Furthermore, through the 10.25-inch head unit, users can access various entertainment features and vehicle feature settings. Users can set the driving mode, power recovery intensity, and maximum speed limit warning in the Power Centre option.
