Cloud EV Media Dynamic Impression Becomes Special Moment to Experience Wuling’s Latest EV
Media colleagues had the opportunity to drive Wuling's latest electric car with quality comfort and innovative features
Jakarta, May 2-3, 2024 - After officially opening the Cloud EV pre-book period on Wednesday (30/4) at the 2024 Periklindo Electric Vehicle Show (PEVS), Wuling Motors (Wuling) today invited media colleagues exclusively to experience the sensation of driving with its latest electric vehicle. In the Cloud EV Dynamic Impression activity held at DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Kemayoran, Wuling provided a total of five Cloud EV units. There were 3 units for driving, one unit was devoted to trying the All Around 360 Camera, and one unit displayed Sofa Mode. This experience was shared to provide a first-hand experience of the performance, comfort, and various innovative features offered by this medium hatchback EV.
“In this Cloud EV Dynamic Impression event, we provide more than just a driving experience to our media partners. We also provide an opportunity for the media to experience Cloud EV's advanced features, such as the 15.6-inch Intelligent Head Unit screen that functions as a vehicle management center, ADAS, to a variety of modern features. We hope that media colleagues will also enjoy the comfort of sofa mode which is one of the advantages of Cloud EV,” explained Danang Wiratmoko as Product Planning Wuling Motors.

On this occasion, media colleagues were invited to explore the various excellent features offered by the Wuling Cloud EV. This electric vehicle has a different transmission shift lever which is located on the left side of the steering wheel and the lever is operated upwards to change gear to R and downwards for D gear. Users can press the button at the end of the lever to activate the P gear.
Furthermore, through the 15.6” Intelligent Head Unit screen in the center of the dashboard, media colleagues can easily access information and control various vehicle functions with ease. Consisting of light settings, ADAS, windows and doors, to driving function settings. Interestingly, function settings can also be activated with the voice command feature through Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND).
Moreover, the driving experience is even safer and more comfortable thanks to the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), which media members can try out while driving with Cloud EV through the free drive area around Jl. Griya Utama and Jl. Benyamin Sueb, Kemayoran.
Media colleagues also had the opportunity to test the Cloud EV's performance on public roads. This electric vehicle has four driving mode options, namely ECO+, ECO, Sport, and Normal. Media colleagues could also adjust the brake response according to their driving preferences. Additionally, the Auto Vehicle Holding and Hill Hold Control functions of Cloud EV allowed media partners to practice safely stopping on an uphill too.

Apart from that, media colleagues tried to park the vehicle with the help of the All Around 360 camera which offers the ability to provide visibility of the car in a 360-degree view. Through this camera, the driver can see every side of the electric car on the Control Screen to park the vehicle more easily.
There was also a Cloud EV static unit available for media colleagues who were curious about the comfort provided by the Cloud EV through Sofa Mode. This function was operated by reclining the first-row seat to the maximum. Then recline the rear seat to 135° so that the entire seat is like a long sofa. In the same unit, media colleagues could see the Cloud EV's spacious luggage capacity of up to 1,707 liters by folding both second-row seats.
