Five Years in Indonesia, Wuling Presents Air ev, Drive for A Green Life

Jakarta, July 11, 2022 – Today, Wuling Motors (Wuling) marks the fifth year of its journey in the Indonesian automotive market. Along with the theme 'Driving Your Future' which was carried this year, Wuling strengthened its commitment to answer the challenges of present and future mobility. During its five years journey in the country, Wuling has proven its existence through various innovative products that provide driving experiences for more than 87,000 consumers. This is also supported by high quality after-sales service through 136 authorized dealers spread throughout Indonesia and various modern innovations.

Starting its journey in Indonesia since 2017, Wuling has presented a series of product lines ranging from Formo, New Confero S, New Cortez, Almaz, and Almaz RS. Various driving innovations are also embedded in the variety of Wuling products. Almaz RS, The First Leading Intelligent Digital Car, which was launched in 2021 is equipped with Internet of Vehicle (IoV) technology which can be accessed via the Wuling remote control app, MyWuling+, and the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), which is a smart driving safety feature. Wuling also has the only voice command with Indonesian language, namely the Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND) which is embedded in the Almaz series, Almaz RS, and New Cortez. In addition to WIND technology, New Cortez is also supported by IoV innovation which makes it a smart MPV.
Furthermore, Wuling will soon realize its newest innovation this year through electric vehicles. The vehicle with compact dimension that has a future-tech design is expected to contribute to support the government in accelerating vehicle electrification in Indonesia in order to realize sustainable environmentally friendly mobility in the future. This product will also be produced at the Wuling factory located in Cikarang, West Java to meet domestic market demand.
In addition to products, Wuling is also committed to maintain customer satisfaction in terms of after-sales service. Customers can easily have periodic maintenance at home using home service. In addition, for customers who experience problems during their trip, Emergency Road Assistance (ERA) and Wuling Mobile Service (WMS) will be ready to provide the assistance needed. Since 2021, Wuling has also collaborated with Tekno Body Repair to accelerate the body and paint repair work needed by customers.
