Jakarta, December 15, 2023 - After BinguoEV (read: Bing-go EV) launch event held at the Grand Atrium, Kota Kasablanka, Wuling Motors (Wuling) invited media colleagues to get to know more about its latest electric vehicle in a media briefing event at The Duck King, Kota Kasablanka. Through this activity, the media get detailed information about the two variants of Wuling BinguoEV.
"BinguoEV, as Wuling's latest step in the era of sustainable mobility, comes with a variety of modern features that are not only functional but also support the comfort and convenience of driving for users on every journey. This innovation also creates an environmentally friendly mobility solution with a sophisticated and connected driving experience through a variety of features that meet the needs of modern users," explained Danang Wiratmoko, Product Planning Wuling Motors.
Wuling BinguoEV comes with a compact and well-proportioned design, carrying dimensions that optimize space and comfort. With dimensions of 3,950 x 1,708 x 1,580 mm, the vehicle reflects a harmonious blend of modern style and mobile efficiency. The exterior of the BinguoEV has an overall timeless design. At the front are the X-Shaped LED Headlamp and Diamond Shaped Grille. BinguoEV applies the Impressive Two-Tone Body Color and Water Splash Wheel Cap which creates an elegant look with a unique impression. At the rear, the BinguoEV is equipped with X-Shaped LED Tail Lights and a Streamline Ducktail that gives it a modern and futuristic touch.

With soft synthetic leather in the interior, this vehicle provides a classy feel and extra comfort for the driver and passengers. The Floating Island Center Console adds a modern and futuristic touch to the interior, giving the impression of a more spacious and functional space. Not only that, the presence of trims and ceramic glaze texture in some parts of the interior shows attention to detail and quality, creating an elegant and pleasant atmosphere on every journey.
BinguoEV also offers a spacious cabin as well as plenty of easily accessible storage spaces. Drivers and passengers can easily organize their belongings in 15 compartments. The Deep Sunk Style Trunk Space allows users to store more items in the trunk. The overall trunk space of the BinguoEV with the second-row seat folded can reach up to 790 liters.

The premium driving experience also can be felt with a variety of functional supporting features including Smart Entry & Smart Start, Multifunction Steering Wheel wrapped in Syntenthic Leather, 10.25-inch TFT Dual Screen, 6-way Electric Adjustable Driver Seat, Cruise Control, Rear Parking Sensor and Camera, Electric Parking Brake, 4 Speakers, and Distinctive Rotary Gear Selector. Four driving modes make traveling more comfortable, namely ECO, ECO +, Sport, and Normal. Safety support features are also presented in Wuling's latest electric vehicle, ranging from Electric Parking Brake, Auto Vehicle Holding, Electronic Stability Control, ABS & EBD, TPMS, ISOFIX, and 2 SRS Airbags.
In terms of performance and battery capacity, the BinguoEV is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 50 kWh. The power is generated through a Single Reduction Gear transmission to the rear wheels. The BinguoEV is also powered by an IP67-standard lithium ferro-phosphate (LFP) battery with a capacity of 31.9 kWh for the Long Range type with a range of up to 333 kilometers and 37.9 kWh for the Premium Range type that can reach up to 410 kilometers when fully charged.
