Pekanbaru is Third City for Wuling Experience Weekend in Sumatra

Series of exciting activities and driving experience of Wuling products presented

Pekanbaru, 7 September 2019 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) today held a series of Wuling Experience Weekend (WEW) in Riau Province and took place at SKA Mall, Pekanbaru. Together with PT Arista Jaya Lestari, Wuling presents a variety of interesting activities for consumers, ranging from culinary festivals, music, exciting games, to test drive units of product lines , from the Confero, Cortez, to Almaz series.

“We hold Wuling Experience Weekend for the third time on the island of Sumatra, this time in Pekanbaru City. Through this activity, we want to be closer to customers in Riau, while providing the opportunity to feel the sensation of driving our product lines and enjoying weekend with Wuling,” Sulistyo Nugroho, Regional Sales Manager of Wuling Motors said.

At this Wuling Experience Weekend, visitors have the opportunity to do a test drive with a variety of the latest Wuling products, consisting of Confero S ACT, Cortez CT, and Almaz. Then, Lucky Dip is available with a variety of attractive prizes for consumers who make a purchase. In addition, visitors who were present could feel the excitement in the prepared game, namely Halo Wuling Games and Pit Stop Challenge.

The event showcased the latest Almaz variant that is equipped with the innovative Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND). This technology integrates sophisticated voice commands that are operated using daily Indonesian with a variety of vehicle features such as air conditioners, windows, panoramic sunroof, access to music or radio entertainment features, make telephone calls, run applications such as Wuling Link, TPMS and others, to information time and date interactively.

The Almaz series carries a 1,500cc turbo engine combined with a CVT transmission, which now has a Manual option for the Smart Enjoy variant. The resulting performance is a maximum power of 140 HP and torque of 250 NM. Leading features are also available in this SUV ranging from keyless entry, start-stop button, panoramic sunroof, Infinity by Harman's premium sound system, to complete safety features.

In addition, the Cortez CT unit test drive is also available during the Wuling Experience Weekend in Pekanbaru. This Wuling Medium MPV is powered by a 1,500cc 4-cylinder engine with a turbocharger. Various modern features are also embedded starting from the sunroof, electric parking brake (EPB), to the comfortable captain seat configuration. To maximize driving safety, this vehicle is equipped with ABS, EBD, BA braking systems, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), to Emergency Stop Signal (ESS).

Finally, Confero S ACT can be tried by SKA Mall visitors, Pekanbaru. This Wuling MPV is equipped with an e-clutch transmission system that allows gear shifting like a manual transmission, but without the clutch pedal. Not only that, the interior of the Wuling MPV gets a touch of shades dominated by black with red stitch accents on the bench, as well as red carbon-style door panels and head units.
