The New Variant of Wuling Electric Car, Air ev Lite is Officially Launched at GIIAS 2023
The compact electric vehicle from Wuling is now more affordable and equipped with the distinctive easiness
Tangerang Regency, August 14, 2023 - Wuling Motors (Wuling) today officially launched the latest variant of its first electric vehicle in Indonesia, the Air ev Lite in the GIIAS 2023 event. Carrying the spirit of 'Drive For A Green Life', this compact car is officially marketed at IDR 206,000,000 (OTR Jakarta), and due to VAT incentives from the government, consumers can purchase it for around IDR 188,900,000. The Air ev Lite is the most affordable variant for consumers who are looking for an electric car for operational vehicles or daily mobility partners.

"As one of the electric vehicle manufacturers in the country, we realize that the increasing trend of electric vehicles is an opportunity to present products that are easily accessible to anyone and can be used for multiple purposes. This motivated Wuling to launch the latest variant of Air ev Lite to answer the demand for electric cars and to reach more consumers in various regions in Indonesia," explained Dian Asmahani as Brand & Marketing Director of Wuling Motors.
Stepping into the Air ev series, the Lite variant carries a compact body design but still has comfort for four people with spacious cabin space. This dimension also supports the ease of the Air ev Lite to be used or driven (easy to use). Air ev Lite can also move easily in various traffic conditions and is easy to park. Interestingly, Air ev users can also monitor the condition of the car easily via the MyWuling+ application.

Regarding its cruising ability, the Air ev Lite carries an 17,3 kWh Lithium Ferro-Phosphate battery capable of driving up to 200 kilometers when fully charged. This type also applies an easy home charging element that provides convenience in charging anywhere even at home with a minimum power of 2,200 Watts. The battery used in the Air ev Lite is also guaranteed safety with IP67 standards and has been tested in various extreme conditions.
Furthermore, Air ev Lite is easy to own with affordable ownership costs. Total maintenance costs spent up to 100,000 kilometers or 5 years for this compact electric vehicle are around IDR 3.9 million. In addition, the Lite variant is also supported by a general vehicle warranty of 100,000 kilometers or 3 years, a battery warranty of 120,000 kilometers or 8 years, a warranty of the main electrical components up to 100,000 kilometers or 5 years, and free maintenance costs up to 50,000 kilometers or 2 years. Similar to other Air ev variants, this type is marketed in five color options consisting of Pristine White, Galaxy Blue, Avocado Green, Lemon Yellow, and Peach Pink. However, all these colors are only available in a one-tone body color configuration.
