Wuling Achieves 1,653 Vehicle Orders and Wins Three Prestigious Awards at IIMS 2025
Visitors at IIMS 2025 warmly welcome Wuling's electric vehicle innovations and the Light of ASEAN concept car
Jakarta, February 28, 2025 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) recorded a strong sales performance at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2025, securing 1,653 vehicle orders (SPK) during the annual automotive exhibition. This represents a significant increase compared to last year’s IIMS results. In addition to its sales success, Wuling also received three prestigious awards in recognition of its outstanding products, including both newly launched models and the brand's concept car.

During IIMS 2025, which took place from February 13 to 23, Wuling's SPK results reflected strong contributions across all product lines. Among the total 1,653 orders, Wuling's electric vehicle lineup—ABC Stories—dominated sales. The Air ev series led the way with 33% of total orders, followed by the BinguoEV series at 27% and the Cloud EV series at 20%. Meanwhile, in the SUV segment, the Wuling Alvez contributed 10% of total sales. These numbers indicate the growing trust and demand for Wuling’s electric vehicle innovations.
The test drive sessions at IIMS 2025 also saw tremendous enthusiasm from visitors, with a total of 1,391 test drives recorded. Among the five vehicle models available for test drives, three standout favorites were the Wuling Air ev, which was driven 464 times, the Cloud EV with 404 test drives, and the BinguoEV with 329 test drives. Additionally, the Wuling Alvez and Wuling Almaz also attracted interest, with 126 and 68 test drives, respectively.
Alongside showcasing its flagship products and offering test drive experiences, Wuling also leveraged the IIMS 2025 event to introduce two refreshed electric vehicle models: the New Air ev ‘Your Everyday Vehicle’ and the New Cloud EV ‘Driving the Future of Comfort.’ These launches reaffirm Wuling’s commitment to delivering innovative electric vehicles tailored to modern consumer needs.

Wuling also introduced the ‘Worry Free Bersama Wuling’ program at IIMS 2025, which includes a 3-Day Service Guarantee, a 7-Day Home Charging Installation Service, and various other after-sales services. To ensure the successful implementation of the 7-Day Home Charging Installation, Wuling partnered with PT Haleyora Power, as marked by the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two parties. Additionally, Wuling announced the winner of the ‘Your Art Your Icon’ competition in collaboration with JICAF, where the grand prize was a BinguoEV featuring the winning exterior design.
As a result to these achievements, innovations, and its commitment to progress, Wuling successfully won two prestigious awards at IIMS 2025 for the Air ev, including ‘Most Affordable EV’ and ‘Best EV City Car.’ As Wuling’s first electric vehicle, the Air ev has revolutionized urban mobility by offering an easy-to-use compact design, practical home charging solutions, and affordable ownership costs. The New Air ev also received several updates, including an Aerodynamic 3-Spoke Wheel Cap, a warm Tamarind Sunset interior, and the bold new Starry Black exterior color.
Not only did Wuling’s EV lineup receive recognition, but its concept car, the Light of ASEAN, also captured attention by winning the ‘Favorite Southeast Asia Premiere Launch’ award. Making its debut in Indonesia, Light of ASEAN represents Wuling’s vision for environmentally friendly vehicles tailored specifically for the ASEAN market. This concept vehicle reinforces Wuling’s dedication to strengthening its presence in the region and accelerating the transition towards greener energy solutions.
