Wuling Air ev Green Mobility Experience Continues with Urban Edu-Recreational Journey
Combining the EV driving experience in the midst of urban mobility with educational creative activities
Jakarta, 22 September 2022 – Air ev Green Mobility Experience Wuling Motors (Wuling) continues. This time the route taken is the Urban Edu-Recreational Journey. In this activity, media partners had the opportunity to experience the sensation of driving Air ev, Drive For A Green Life directly with various mobility conditions, both as a driver and passenger. There are 7 units of Wuling Air ev long range who explore the city of Jakarta with Journalist in one day. The starting point is at the Wuling Center and the finish line is at Senayan Park.

"We held the Air ev Green Mobility Experience: Urban Edu-Recreational Journey in order to provide an opportunity for media colleagues to try Wuling's first electric car in Indonesia with true urban mobility. In addition, there are also challenges that are educational and recreational in nature and need to be completed by the participants. With the convenience offered by Air ev and bearing the title as an environmentally friendly vehicle, this event can be a proof that Wuling's electric car can be relied on in urban traffic, "explained Dian Asmahani as Brand & Marketing Director of Wuling Motors.
This activity started with a presentation of Air ev products and route briefing as well as the flag off at the Wuling Center which was a ceremony for the release of the media group to explore the Urban Wellness Journey route. Then, the media colleagues traveled to lunch spot at Talassa, which is located at Pantai Indah Kapuk. Along the way, fellow journalists took the arterial route of permata hijau, then entered the Jakarta – Tangerang toll road and continued on to the JORR toll road and entered the PIK area. In this combination of routes, participants can experience 3 driving modes from Wuling Air ev, namely Normal, Eco and Sport.

Next, the media colleagues drove to Atsiri in Sarinah, which is an aromatic wellness destination owned by Rumah Atsiri Indonesia. At this point, fellow journalists are invited to find out more about essential oils and attend essential oil creation workshops. Next, the media colleagues continued their journey to BNI City Station in the Sudirman area to capture the moment of Air ev with the city landscape and skyscrapers.
After that, the next point is the Wijaya House in Melawai. As an electric car, Air ev is included in the vehicle category that is exempt from odd-even so that users can traverse on that route. Therefore, there is no need to worry when passing on Jl MH Thamrin, Jl. General Sudirman to the Senayan roundabout in the afternoon. At this destination, media colleagues were invited to participate in a tote bag painting session with a picture of Wuling Air ev.
Entering the final session of the Air ev Green Mobility Experience: Urban Edu-Recreational Journey, media colleagues moved to Senayan Park. When in traffic jams, media partners can also enjoy a variety of entertainment in a modern 10.25” head unit that can be connected to the internet. Closing the day's driving series, media colleagues had dinner together at Lucy in the Sky while enjoying the night atmosphere of the capital city of Jakarta. The total journey traveled by fellow journalists and Wuling Air ev today is 76 kilometers.
