Wuling Air ev Participates in PLN E-Mobility Day in The Island of Gods

Wuling participated in the signing of the MoU on Strategic Cooperation for the Acceleration of Battery-Based Electric Vehicles

Denpasar, July 24, 2022 - Wuling Motors (Wuling) reaffirmed its commitment to bring environmentally friendly electric vehicles to Indonesia by displaying Air ev at the PLN E-mobility Day on 18-24 July 2022 at Mall Level 21 Denpasar, Bali. Today, Wuling together with several automotive brands in Indonesia signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for Strategic Cooperation for the Acceleration of Battery-Based Electric Vehicles (KLBB).

“We are honored to be able to take part in this momentum as a tangible manifestation of the acceleration of vehicle electrification nationally. We are proud to show Wuling’s readiness in the era of environmentally friendly vehicles by bringing our first electric car for the country, Wuling Air ev, to the PLN E-Mobility Day. In this memorandum of understanding, Wuling collaborates with PLN in various aspects to develop an electric vehicle ecosystem. It consists of service programs to consumers, such as charging devices at home, service packages for the required electricity capacity, and joint support for the integration process of Public Electric Vehicle Charging Stations (SPKLU).

In addition, Wuling together with PLN synergizes in the "Green Tourism" program, developing data-based electric vehicle ecosystem infrastructure to digital technology that can be implemented in the form of pilot projects or collaborations, socialization, and education regarding the use of electric vehicles to the public and including joint branding: Wuling with PLN.

“Wuling is ready to bring Air ev to the people of Indonesia in the near future. Through Wuling's first electric vehicle in the country, we hope that modern mobility that is environmentally friendly and a better life can be realized in the future, in accordance with the theme of the PLN E-Mobility Day, Driving The Future," added Maulana Hakim.
