Wuling Appreciates BinguoEV Customers Through ‘Tenang Bersama Wuling’ Event
Offers a series of meaningful activities, from sharing kindness to homecoming education for EV users
Tangerang, March 22, 2025 – Embracing the spirit of togetherness and sharing during the holy month of Ramadan, Wuling Motors (Wuling) held the ‘Tenang Bersama Wuling’ event dedicated to BinguoEV customers and members of the official WBiC (Wuling EV Indonesia Binguo Community). This initiative served as a token of appreciation for the trust of over 6,000 BinguoEV users across Indonesia, while also fostering community bonding and creating joyful Ramadan moments. The event also featured an educational session on how to prepare for a safe and comfortable homecoming journey with an electric vehicle.
“This month presents a perfect opportunity to strengthen connections with our BinguoEV customers and spread the goodness of Ramadan. Through ‘Tenang Bersama Wuling,’ we aim to show appreciation to our customers while encouraging them to enjoy a comfortable and eco-friendly driving experience, as well as contribute to society through social activities and fun-filled ngabuburit moments,” said Ricky Christian, Marketing Operation Director of Wuling Motors.

The ‘Tenang Bersama Wuling’ event kicked off with a convoy 50 units of BinguoEV units departing from two Wuling dealerships – Wuling Arista Bintaro and Wuling Mimosa BSD – which served as the meeting points for participants. At these locations, participants received a briefing and a starter pack that included a T-shirt and electronic money. The convoy then proceeded to its final destination at Summarecon Mall Serpong (SMS).
Upon arrival at Summarecon Mall Serpong, the event continued with a welcoming speech by Ricky Christian, followed by a symbolic donation handover from Wuling Motors to Rumah Zakat, witnessed by BinguoEV customer representatives. The donation consisted of 1,000 Berbagi Buka Puasa packages, which will be distributed to Rumah Zakat empowerment program beneficiaries in both Desa Berdaya (empowered villages) and other communities in need.
The event then moved to Taman Santap Rumah Kayu restaurant for a talk show and Q&A session with driving safety expert Sony Susmana. In this session, attendees gained valuable insights on how to prepare for the Eid homecoming trip, tips on safe driving using an electric vehicle, and useful information about Charging Station Areas that can assist EV users on long journeys. Through this awareness effort, Wuling hopes BinguoEV users can feel more confident and at ease when planning a worry-free trip home.

The event concluded with a collective iftar dinner, allowing BinguoEV users to bond and strengthen their sense of community while enjoying special Ramadan dishes. To add to the excitement, Wuling also held a door prize giveaway, featuring prizes such as up to 2 grams of gold, 32-inch Smart TVs, and shopping vouchers worth up to IDR 2 million.
As additional information, ‘Tenang Bersama Wuling’ is a campaign held throughout March to welcome and celebrate the holy month of Ramadan. The campaign includes various services, promotions, and social activities to foster togetherness and support communities in need.
Regarding the BinguoEV, Wuling’s second electric vehicle was officially launched in August 2023. This iconic hatchback EV comes in several variants: the BinguoEV Long Range, offering a 333-kilometer range, and the BinguoEV Premium Range, with a driving range of up to 410 kilometers. Since its launch, the BinguoEV has captivated consumers and earned two prestigious awards in Indonesia: “Best City Car EV” at the 2024 Otomotif Award and “My 2nd Companion (Small EV)” Family Car Recommendation 2024 by iCar Asia.
