Wuling BinguoEV is Equipped with Various Modern Features for Easy Driving

Tangerang Regency, November 24, 2023 - Wuling Motors (Wuling) yesterday (23/11) and today invited media partners to experience the driving experience of its newest electric vehicle, BinguoEV (pronounced: Bing-go EV) in BSD City area, Tangerang Regency. As part of this event, participants had the opportunity to drive 3 units of BinguoEV while trying out various features that support driving convenience and comfort. In addition, media colleagues also experienced the ease of accessing various vehicle settings and entertainment functions as well as viewing important information while driving through the 10.25-inch TFT Dual Screen integrated with the multi-information display and head unit.
"BinguoEV is the second EV product line from Wuling in order to answer the challenges of environmentally friendly electric vehicles for daily mobility needs. For this purpose, a variety of convenience and comfort can be felt through a variety of features and facilities equipped on this electric car and ready to accompany a journey to support a green lifestyle every day," explained Danang Wiratmoko, Product Planning of Wuling Motors.

One of the advantages of BinguoEV is the Premium Driving Experience aspect that pampers users in the driving experience. The premium experience in Wuling BinguoEV can already be felt before entering the cabin space. Users can open and close the door locks with Smart Entry. To start the vehicle, users do not need to use keys or buttons. With the Smart Start System, users only need to fasten the seat belt, and step on the brake, until the word 'Ready' appears on the screen. Drivers can also adjust the position on the bench with the 6-way Electric Seat Adjustment, as well as electrically adjust the rearview mirror for a customized viewing angle.
To start the journey, users can shift the transmission on the Rotary Gear Selector on the center console and release the parking brake by pressing the Electric Parking Brake button. Users can also customize the driving mode with four mode options consisting of Eco, Eco+, Normal, and Sport. In addition, there is also a regenerative power option consisting of 3 options namely Weak, Standard, and Strong. Users can also enjoy cruising mode on the BinguoEV by activating Cruise Control and adjusting the cruising speed via buttons on the steering wheel.

During the stop-and-go position on uneven or uphill road contours, the driver can utilize the Auto Vehicle Holding (AVH) feature that will hold the vehicle in a stationary position after a complete stop and the Hill Hold Control (HHC) that keeps the car from sliding backward during a stop and go on an uphill road. Wuling's second electric car is also equipped with a creeping function that helps the car automatically provide power to move forward when releasing the brakes on flat and uphill roads.
Various vehicle functions can also be accessed through the 10.25-inch head unit. Starting from window and vehicle light settings. Then, in the Pusat Daya menu, users can also set the driving mode (in addition to using the physical buttons on the right side of the steering wheel), power recovery intensity, and maximum speed limit warning. Through the screen, users can also adjust the fan speed, temperature, and mode on the air conditioner in addition to using the physical knob. In addition, various other conveniences can be used through the head unit such as radio, music, and telephone with the support of 4 Full Range Speakers.
To provide important information while driving, the BinguoEV is equipped with a 10.25-inch instrument cluster screen. On the screen, the driver can monitor various vehicle information ranging from several status and warning icons, speed instructions, electric motor rotation, gear selection, to the odometer. In addition, the screen also displays the battery capacity status, remaining mileage, driving mode, and regenerative power options.
