Jakarta, September 12, 2025 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) once again achieved an accomplishment through its line of electric vehicles at the Family Car Recommendation 2025, which was announced on Wednesday (09/10). Wuling BinguoEV succeeded in winning the title ‘Choice for My Partner’, an award that serves as recognition of the excellence of BinguoEV. Presenting a combination of iconic design, efficiency, and comfort, making it an electric vehicle suitable to accompany the daily mobility of Indonesian consumers.

The Family Car Recommendation 2025 event, organized by Autofun Indonesia, Carmudi, and Mobil123, provides recommendations of the best cars in various categories based on innovation, efficiency, and suitability for the needs of modern families. Carrying the theme ‘Family Car Recommendation 2025’, the list of recommendations is available in various options, ranging from ICE, Hybrid, to EV vehicles. The assessment process was carried out by the editors of Autofun Indonesia together with Mobil123 and Carmudi through voting as well as in-depth discussions.
The title ‘Choice for My Partner’ was given to Wuling BinguoEV for its strengths in sweet design and agile maneuverability, making this Wuling hatchback EV the ideal choice for daily activities in urban areas. In addition, the fairly long driving range and the presence of a fast-charging port provide a sense of security as well as added value for its users.

Wuling officially launched the New BinguoEV on July 11, 2025, together with the celebration of Wuling’s 8th anniversary in Indonesia. The New BinguoEV comes in two variants, Pro and Lite. This electric car carries the theme ‘Be The Icon’ thanks to its iconic exterior design. It also received additional features such as electric foldable mirrors and smartphone interconnection, as well as a variety of body color options, including Avocado Green, Lemon Yellow, Milk Tea, Galaxy Blue, Starry Black, and Tungsten Steel Grey.
This Wuling hatchback EV is equipped with a 50 kW electric motor with 150 Nm of torque, as well as an LFP battery with a capacity of 31.9 kWh and the ability to travel up to 333 km on a single full charge. A fast-charging facility is also available in the New BinguoEV, allowing battery charging from 30% to 80% in just 35 minutes, making the New BinguoEV a practical choice for mobility.
Moving into the interior, the New BinguoEV applies a Caramel Latte interior theme for the Pro variant and Mocha Latte for the Lite variant. Both variants are equipped with dual 10.25-inch screens used as an instrument cluster display and head unit with various vehicle settings that can be operated from the touchscreen. In addition, there are 15 storage compartments inside the cabin as well as a luggage capacity of 790 liters with the second-row seats folded.
