Wuling Celebrates Nine Years in Indonesia and Premieres Aira ev

Cikarang, July 11, 2026 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) today celebrates its ninth anniversary in Indonesia through an event held at the Wuling factory in Cikarang, West Java. Carrying the theme ‘Tumbuh Bersama Sebagai Keluarga’, the celebration serves as a moment to appreciate all parties who have been part of Wuling’s journey since its presence in Indonesia in 2017. This special occasion is also marked by the introduction of Aira ev as Wuling’s latest electric vehicle for Indonesian families.

Exactly nine years ago, Wuling officially introduced its first vehicle in Indonesia. Since then, the company has continued to grow by strengthening its manufacturing facilities and local supply chain, as well as expanding its sales and after-sales service network. To date, Wuling has produced 200,000 vehicles for the domestic and export markets and has earned the trust of 180,000 customers in Indonesia. Wuling vehicles manufactured in Indonesia have also reached global markets, with cumulative export volume reaching 10,000 units. Wuling has also ranked among the top 10 passenger vehicle brands in Indonesia and became the first Chinese automotive manufacturer to locally assemble electric vehicle batteries in the country.
