Wuling Continues ‘Wuling Bakti Pendidikan’ Program by Donating 365 Engines
Celebrating its 7th anniversary, Wuling provides engines to vocational schools and universities in Cikarang and East Java.
Jakarta, July 8, 2024 – In continuing its commitment to educational support through the Wuling Bakti Pendidikan program, and to commemorate its 7th anniversary, Wuling Motors (Wuling) has donated 365 engines. These donations are targeted towards Vocational High Schools (SMK) and Universities in the Cikarang area and East Java Province. This initiative represents Wuling's tangible contribution to supporting education, especially for students focusing on automotive fields, providing them with technological expertise and aligning their skills with current industry needs.

“Through the Wuling Bakti Pendidikan CSR initiative, Wuling continues to demonstrate its commitment to enhancing the quality of vocational education in Indonesia. This program has collaborated with various Vocational Schools (SMK) and Universities, focusing on improving automotive education. As part of our 7th anniversary celebration, we are donating engines to strengthen vocational education capabilities in Java. We aim to enhance practical learning experiences for students, facilitate knowledge transfer from the industry, support the development of skilled labor, and strengthen the capacity of educational institutions in providing quality technical training,” explained Arif Pramadana, Vice President of Wuling Motors.
Regarding this 'Wuling Bakti Pendidikan' program, Wuling has donated a total of 365 engines, along with learning modules and service manuals as guides for students, distributed in two handover ceremonies. The first ceremony was held at Wuling's Cikarang plant on Tuesday (2/7), with 197 engines given to 50 Vocational Schools in Cikarang and its surroundings, as well as to 7 Universities in Java.

“We extend our gratitude to Wuling for their valuable support and cooperation. We hope this collaboration will continue to grow stronger, enabling technology transfer to educational institutions. SMKs and institutions that have collaborated must be more proactive in seeking Wuling for material exchange and fostering closer cooperation,” expressed Abdul Rokib, M.Pd, Principal of SMK Ananda Mitra Industri Deltamas.
The second handover ceremony took place at Hotel Bromo Park, Probolinggo, on Friday (5/7), where 168 engines were donated to 117 Vocational Schools and 1 University in East Java Province. During this ceremony, Dr. Drs. Wardani Sugiyanto, M.Pd., Director of Vocational Schools at the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of Indonesia, also expressed his appreciation to Wuling.
“Let us enthusiastically embrace this assistance and optimize our institutions' practical training. This is an extraordinary moment where the industry shows increasing love and partnership with vocational schools. We hope that this cooperation will continue in providing the best education,” stated during the speech.
Each engine donated by Wuling to vocational schools and universities serves as a practical training tool for students to enhance their skills in disassembling and reassembling engine components.
For additional information, Wuling also previously implemented the ‘Wuling Bakti Pendidikan’ program in Central Java and DIY at the end of June 2024. During this initiative, Wuling provided 120 internal combustion engines (ICE) to 98 Vocational Schools and 2 Universities in Central Java, as well as 120 engines to 69 Vocational Schools and 4 Universities in Yogyakarta. With the implementation of the ‘Wuling Bakti Pendidikan’ program in Central Java, Yogyakarta, East Java, and the Cikarang area in June and July, the total number of engines donated by Wuling has reached 605 units.
