Wuling Cortez CT Wins The Best Medium MPV at GridOto Award 2020
The New Advanced MPV was also awarded the Best Total Cost of Ownership in Medium MPV category
Jakarta, 16 December 2020 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) through one of its flagship MPVs has again received appreciation in the Indonesian automotive world. Cortez CT won two awards at the GridOto Award 2020 event which was held virtually through the GridOto and Otomotif TV Youtube channels on Tuesday (15/12). At the awarding event with the theme "Road to Electric Mobility", Gridoto.com awarded the Best Medium MPV and Best Total Cost of Ownership in the Medium MPV category to Wuling Cortez CT.

The testing process in the GridOto Award, which has entered its third year, was carried out by the GridOto.com team for the two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicle segments. GridOto.com used several assessment factors, ranging from design, features, performance, control, to fuel consumption. Meanwhile, for Best Total Cost of Ownership, the GridOto.com team also considered the maintenance costs, fuel consumption and vehicle taxes that must be paid by vehicle owners.
Regarding the Wuling Cortez CT specifications, this medium MPV uses a powerful 1,500 cc turbocharged engine with the competence to produce a maximum power of 140 HP and 250 Nm of torque. This performance is channeled to the front wheels through a smooth and responsive CVT transmission or a 6-speed manual transmission option.
The comfort in the cabin is emphasized on Cortez CT with a spacious and modern space with a choice of 7-seater captain seat configurations. Some of the leading features also complement this vehicle such as the One Push Start / Stop Button, Keyless Entry, Advanced 8" Entertainment System with Navigation, Convenient Electric Front Seat Adjuster, and Classy Electric Sunroof, which further pampers the driver and passengers.

Complete safety features are also embedded in the Cortez CT, starting from the Dual SRS Front plus Side Airbag, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), ABS, EBD, BA, Hill Hold Control (HHC), Automatic Vehicle Hold (AVH), Electric Parking Brake. (EPB), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Traction Control System (TCS), Rear Parking Camera, Parking Sensor, and Emergency Stop Signal.
The Wuling Cortez CT series is marketed in three variants, namely type S, type C, and type L with OTR prices starting from IDR 209,000,000 to IDR 290,000,000 for Jakarta area. The color options available for Cortez CT consist of Pristine White, Dazzling Silver, Aurora Silver, Starry Black, and Burgundy Red.
The titles of Best Medium MPV and Best Total Cost of Ownership given to Cortez CT at the GridOto Award 2020 certainly added to the series of awards that have been won by The New Advanced MPV. Previously, Cortez CT had won the Best of Medium MPV Gasoline by Tabloid OTOMOTIF in 2020 and Best Medium MPV at GridOto Award 2019.
