Jakarta, September 30 2018 – Medium MPV Wuling, Cortez has been namedas one of The Best Five ChoiceFORWOT Car of the Year 2018 in an awarding event organized by the Indonesian Automotive Journalists Forum (FORWOT) on Friday 28th September 2018 at Bands Cafe & Resto, Kemayoran. At this prestigious annual awarding event, FORWOT managed to collect 23 new cars and not just a minor change, major change, or the addition of variants from various manufacturers. Then an assessment was carried out with the review and judging process of various aspects by the FORWOT team and The New Choice of MPV, Wuling Cortez came out as one of the best five choice by FORWOT with 160 points.

Cortez is Wuling's second product which was launched in February 2018. With the concept of The New Choice of MPV, Wuling Cortez described as a new choice for Indonesian customers with its Stylish LED Headlamp with Auto Lamp, Sporty 16” Two Tone Alloy Wheel, Dynamic Fog Lamp & DRL Design, and sophisticated features in its class.

To improve its comfort, the medium MPV is also completed with Classy Electric Sunroof, Convenient Electric Drive Seat Adjuster, Modern Center Cluster with Auto AC, Exquisite Atmosphere Lamp, Advanced 8” Entertainment System and USB port to charge gadgets in all seat rows.
Regarding this medium MPV’s mechanical specifications, it is equipped with a 1,800 cc engine with a maximum power of 129 HP and 174 Nm of torque. This performance is delivered by two transmission options which are 6-speed manual and i-AMT (intelligent Automated Mechanical Transmission). Not only that, the i-AMT transmission also applies in two driving modes, Eco (E) and Sport (S).
In addition, the car that carries the tagline of The New Choice of MPV is embedded with a variety of complete features, such as safety features namely the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Force Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Automatic Vehicle Holding (AVH), Hill Hold Control (HHC), and Electric Parking Brake (EPB).
About Wuling Cortez's color choices, it traded in five color options: Burgundy Red, Starry Black, Dazzling Silver, Sand Brown and Pristine White.
