Wuling Darion, Indonesia’s First MPV with EV and PHEV Technology Officially Introduced in Bandung
The new 7-seater MPV from Wuling offers two electrification options and carries the tagline ‘Evolving Family Moments’
Bandung, November 7, 2025 – Following its national debut in Jakarta and its introduction at GIIAS Makassar 2025, Wuling Motors (Wuling) continued the launch series of Darion “Evolving Family Moments” in Bandung. Through this event, Wuling introduced the Darion more closely to the public as a new MPV featuring EV and PHEV electrification technology designed to meet the mobility needs of modern Indonesian families.

Carrying the Elegant Streamline Design concept, Darion showcases an aerodynamic and harmonious exterior appearance. The PHEV variant features a bold and futuristic Diamond Cut Grille, while both the EV and PHEV variants adopt X-Shape styled front and rear lights, 17-inch alloy wheels, and a Hidden Slide Rail design for a clean and modern look.

Comfort remains a top priority for Darion as a family vehicle. This 7-seater MPV features a spacious 2+2+3 cabin configuration supported by the longest body and wheelbase in its class. The second row is equipped with ventilated electric captain seats for the EX variant, complemented by the Autocomfort Sliding Door with an electric operation system that provides easy access in and out of the car. The interior, available in Walnut Brown and Carbon Black with soft synthetic leather materials, creates a warm and elegant atmosphere for every journey.
To ensure safety and driving confidence, Wuling Darion is built with a High-Strength Steel Cage Body and equipped with six airbags, ISOFIX anchors, a 360° camera, and active safety systems including ABS, EBD, ESC, EPB, AVH, and TPMS. The driving experience is further enhanced through a 12.8-inch control screen, smartphone interconnection, wireless charging, electric sunroof, smart electric tailgate, and electric rearview mirror.
In terms of performance, Darion is available in two electrification options. The EV variant is powered by a 150 kW electric motor paired with the MAGIC Battery Pro that delivers a range of up to 540 km (CLTC) and supports DC Fast Charging for shorter charging times. Meanwhile, the PHEV variant features LING Power, combining a 1,498 cc gasoline engine with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) that ensures powerful yet efficient performance, allowing a total range of up to 1,000 km including 125 km (CLTC) in full-electric mode.
All Darion variants are developed on Wuling’s global Wonder Flexible Modular System (WFMS) platform and are enhanced with advanced technologies such as the LING Power Hybrid System, MAGIC Battery Pro, LING OS, and Level 2 ADAS to provide maximum safety and comfort for family journeys.

Wuling Darion is available in four variants, EV CE, EV EX, PHEV CE, and PHEV EX, with color options including Haze Grey, Frosty White, Starry Black, and Orchid Purple.
