Wuling Eksion Available in EV and Plug-in Hybrid Options with Two Variants
Wuling’s latest 7-seater SUV combines Superior Comfort, Ultra-High Efficiency, and Versatile Safety
Jakarta, April 22, 2026 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) held a media briefing session as part of the Grand Launching of the Wuling Eksion today (4/22) at Kota Kasablanka Mall, Jakarta. On this occasion, Wuling presented a comprehensive overview of its latest electrified SUV, covering aspects from design, technology, and powertrain options to safety features and color choices.
Aji Ibrahim, Product Planning of Wuling Motors, stated, “Wuling Eksion, which carries the spirit of Exploring Family Journeys, comes as the first 7-seater SUV in Indonesia equipped with both EV and Plug-in Hybrid technology options. In addition, this latest SUV also marks Wuling’s second product to adopt the Wonder Flexible Modular System (WFMS) platform.”

Adopting the Muscular Flowline Design language, Wuling Eksion showcases a modern character through X-shaped automatic headlamps, X-shaped rear lamps, as well as design elements tailored to each variant, such as the honeycomb grille on the Plug-in Hybrid and aerodynamic bumper on the EV variant. This appearance is further enhanced by 18-inch alloy wheels and two-tone color options on selected variants. The vehicle is supported by McPherson suspension at the front and multi-link independent suspension at the rear, along with disc brakes on all four wheels to ensure stability and driving comfort.
Wuling Eksion is the second product built on Wuling Technology, which includes WFMS as the latest electrification platform supporting both EV and PHEV, LING Power Hybrid System for efficient and smooth performance, LING OS for intelligent internet-based connectivity, and MAGIC Battery Pro with comprehensive protection that has passed various safety tests.
Carrying the Superior Comfort aspect, the interior of Eksion is designed with a spacious 7-seater configuration featuring a walnut brown and carbon black color combination. Comfort is further enhanced by ventilated seats and electric seat adjustment for the front row, soundproof double glass, panoramic sunroof, as well as an AC system with PM2.5 filter that reaches up to the third row. The driving experience is also supported by a 360° around view camera equipped with a transparent chassis display, providing full visibility when parking and maneuvering.

In terms of practicality, the second and third row seats can be fully folded to provide a luggage capacity of up to 1,788 liters, complemented by an electric tailgate. On the dashboard, a 12.8-inch control screen and an 8.8-inch TFT display are integrated with features such as ventilated 50W wireless charging, soft-touch panels, and a multifunction steering wheel to deliver a modern driving experience.
Under the Ultra-High Efficiency aspect, the EV variant offers a driving range of up to 530 km (CLTC), powered by a 150 kW electric motor with 310 Nm of torque and a 69.2 kWh battery, along with DC fast charging support (CCS2). Meanwhile, the Plug-in Hybrid variant combines a 1.5L dedicated hybrid engine with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) and a 20.5 kWh battery, delivering an electric range of up to 125 km and a total combined range of over 1,000 km (CLTC), while still supporting DC fast charging.
In terms of Versatile Safety, Wuling Eksion is equipped with a body structure composed of 75% high-strength steel, up to 6 SRS airbags, and ISOFIX. Active safety features include ESC, ABS, EBD, HHC, AVH, and TPMS. Additionally, ADAS Level 2 is available, featuring ACC, IDA, FCW, AEB, LDW, BSD, LCA, DOW, RCTA, RCW, and IHMA to provide comprehensive protection.
Wuling Eksion is available in two variants, CE and EX, for both EV and Plug-in Hybrid options. It comes in four color choices: Archipelago Blue, Haze Grey, Frosty White, and Starry Black. For the EX variant, a two-tone roof is available on Archipelago Blue with a white roof and Frosty White with a black roof, enhancing its premium appearance.
