Wuling Eksion ‘Exploring Family Journeys’, Wuling’s Latest SUV Officially Introduced in Bali
The first 7-seater SUV in Indonesia with EV and Plug-in Hybrid technology. Available in CE and EX trims
Bali, April 29, 2026 – After being officially introduced nationally in Jakarta a few days ago, Wuling Motors (Wuling) is now introducing the Wuling Eksion to the people of Bali and its surrounding areas through an exhibition at Living World Denpasar, Bali today. The presence of Eksion also marks Wuling’s step in bringing its latest 7-seater SUV with EV and Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) electrification options as a flexible mobility solution for modern families.
“Wuling Eksion carries the spirit of ‘Exploring Family Journeys’ as a 7-seater SUV designed to support every family journey. This vehicle is supported by Wuling Technology, including the Wonder Flexible Modular System (WFMS) as an electrified vehicle platform, LING Power Hybrid System for energy efficiency and smooth performance, LING OS for smart connectivity, and MAGIC Battery Pro that provides comprehensive protection,” said Rheza Adidarma as Regional Sales Manager Wuling Motors.
Adopting the Muscular Flowline Design, Wuling Eksion presents a modern SUV character through X-shaped automatic headlamps and X-shaped rear lamps. This design identity is further strengthened by the distinctive character of each variant, such as the honeycomb grille on the Plug-in Hybrid and aerodynamic bumper on the EV variant, as well as the use of 18-inch alloy wheels and two-tone color options on selected variants. The vehicle is also supported by McPherson suspension at the front and multi-link independent suspension at the rear, as well as disc brake systems on all four wheels to enhance driving stability and comfort.

Speaking of Superior Comfort, Wuling Eksion offers a spacious 7-seater interior with a walnut brown and carbon black color combination and soft-touch panel accents, supported by ventilated seats and electric seat adjustment in the front row, soundproof double glass, air conditioning with PM2.5 filter, and a panoramic sunroof that provides a more spacious cabin feel. Flexibility is also offered through second and third-row seats that can be folded flat to create up to 1,788 liters of luggage capacity, complemented by an electric tailgate, as well as modern features such as a 12.8-inch control screen, 8.8-inch TFT display, ventilated 50W wireless charging, and a multifunction steering wheel for a more practical driving experience.
Carrying the Ultra-High Efficiency pillar, the Plug-in Hybrid variant combines a 1.5L dedicated hybrid engine with a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT) and a 20.5 kWh battery, enabling an electric range of up to 125 km and a total range of over 1,000 km (CLTC). Meanwhile, the EV variant offers a range of up to 530 km (CLTC) with a 150 kW electric motor and 310 Nm of torque, supported by a 69.2 kWh battery and DC fast charging CCS2 capability.
Under the Versatile Safety pillar, Wuling Eksion is equipped with a body structure made of 75% high-strength steel, up to 6 SRS airbags, and ISOFIX, supported by active safety features such as ESC, ABS, EBD, HHC, AVH, and TPMS, as well as Level 2 ADAS technology with 11 intelligent safety functions, including ACC, IDA, FCW, AEB, LDW, BSD, LCA, DOW, RCTA, RCW, and IHMA to provide comprehensive protection for users.
Wuling Eksion is marketed in two variants, CE and EX, for both EV and Plug-in Hybrid. For exterior color options, it is available in Archipelago Blue, Haze Grey, Frosty White, and Starry Black. In the EX variant, a two-tone roof is available on selected colors to provide a more premium appearance. Along with the introduction of Wuling Eksion in Bali, Wuling is also offering an early bird program with various attractive benefits for consumers.
