Wuling Eksion Wins Three Awards at the Carvaganza Editors’ Choice Award 2026

Jakarta, November 3, 2026 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) has once again achieved recognition in Indonesia’s automotive industry by winning awards at The 10th Carvaganza Editors’ Choice Award 2026 through its Wuling Eksion series. Wuling Eksion secured three prestigious awards, Best Product Development Award, 2026 Best Carvaganza Electric Car Award, and 2026 Carvaganza Car of the Year. The awards were presented at an event held at Midaz Senayan Golf, Jakarta, on Monday (11/2). This achievement serves as a testament to Wuling’s innovation in delivering electrified vehicles that cater to the mobility needs of Indonesian consumers.

Wuling Eksion is Indonesia’s first 7-seater SUV to offer two electrification technology options, Electric Vehicle (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). Launched in April 2026, this SUV is designed to support family mobility through a combination of Muscular Flowline Design, Superior Comfort, Ultra High Efficiency, and Versatile Safety. The availability of two electrification options provides consumers with the flexibility to choose a vehicle that best suits their individual needs and driving preferences.
Wuling Eksion PHEV combines electrification technology with a conventional engine to provide greater driving flexibility. This model is equipped with a 1.5L dedicated hybrid engine, a Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT), and a 20.5 kWh battery. This combination of technologies enables the Eksion PHEV to achieve an all-electric driving range of up to 125 kilometers and a total driving range of more than 1,000 kilometers based on CLTC. This versatility allows consumers to enjoy electric-powered mobility while maintaining the flexibility needed for long-distance journeys.
Meanwhile, Wuling Eksion EV is an electric SUV designed to support family mobility, offering performance and driving range suited for both daily commutes and long-distance journeys. Equipped with a 69.2 kWh battery, the Eksion EV delivers a driving range of up to 530 kilometers based on CLTC. The vehicle also generates up to 150 kW of power, equivalent to 201 hp, with a maximum torque of 310 Nm. Additionally, it features DC fast charging technology with a CCS2 connector, allowing for faster battery charging.
The Carvaganza Editors’ Choice Award is an award event organized by Carvaganza to recognize outstanding products and industry players in the automotive sector based on editorial assessments. This year’s event carries the theme ‘A Decade of Choosing One Moves Us’, with the evaluation process taking place from September 2025 to August 2026, covering more than 150 cars. The assessment process consists of six stages, starting from the curation process through to the final selection of winners. During the final evaluation stage, each journalist is allocated 25 points to distribute among the nominated cars, with the highest-scoring vehicle declared the winner in each category. Entering its 10th edition, the event serves as a form of recognition for the continuous development of products and innovations within the automotive industry.
