People of Medan can enjoy exciting activities and driving sensation with Wuling
Medan, 4 August 2019 – After the city of Bandung, Wuling Motors (Wuling) held a Wuling Experience Weekend (WEW) in North Sumatra, precisely in the city of Medan. In collaboration with PT Arista Jaya Lestari, a variety of exciting activities as well as product line up were presented for customers at Plaza Medan Fair. Line of products, services, games, entertainment and prizes are provided for visitors throughout the event.

“We now bring the Wuling Experience Weekend to Medan. Through a variety of fun activities and trying the sensation of driving with Wuling products, we hope to get closer to the people of Medan to realize the spirit of Drive For A Better Life and also have a weekend together,” Sulistyo Nugroho as Regional Sales Manager Wuling Motors explained.
Various exciting activities also provided at Wuling Experience Weekend, consisting of community gatherings, carnivals, culinary festivals and music. In addition, test drive units are also available starting from the Confero series, Cortez series, and Almaz. Then, Lucky Dip is also available with prizes of shopping vouchers, smartphones and various electronic household appliances for consumers who placed orders.

On the same occasion, the latest Almaz variant with the Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND) and 7-seater configuration was officially launched. The Smart Technology SUV is now marketed in four variants with prices on the road in Medan ranging from Smart Enjoy MT (IDR273,800,000), Smart Enjoy CVT (IDR285,800,000), Exclusive 5-Seater (IDR338,800,000), Exclusive 7-Seater (Exclusive) IDR 348,800,000).
WINDis brought to shape the smart ecosystem in the era of integrated and connected vehicles. This feature itself is a sophisticated voice command that is operated using daily Indonesian language to operate various vehicle features such as air conditioners, windows, panoramic sunroof, access to music or radio entertainment features, make telephone calls, run applications such as Wuling Link, TPMS and others, and also interactive time and date information.
The Almaz variant is powered by a 1.5 turbo petrol engine and a smooth and responsive CVT transmission that now came with a 6-speed manual transmission option. Various modern features are embedded in this medium SUV, namely panoramic sunroof, start-stop button, sound system Infinity by Harman, and also 360 degree camera and complete safety features such as emergency stop signal (ESS), electronic stability control (ESC), traction control system (TCS), ABS, EBD, BA braking systems, hill hold control (HHC), to auto vehicle hoding (AVH).
The exterior of the Almaz has a stunning and sporty design with Integrated Future Eyes LED, LED projector headlamps, and a new touch on the rear bumper. The latest Almaz variant also applies dynamic parallel and floating roof styles, which now have a new additional touch on the rear bumper.
The latest almaz variant is now also being marketed with a 7-seater option and six color choices namely Aurora Silver, Starry Black, Pristine White, Dazzling Silver, Carnelian Red, and Burgundy Red.
