Wuling Holds Aira ev Media 1st Impression During Its 9th Anniversary Celebration in Indonesia

Cikarang, July 11, 2026 – Coinciding with the celebration of Wuling’s nine-year journey in Indonesia, Wuling Motors (Wuling) held the Aira ev Media First Impression at the Wuling manufacturing facility in Cikarang, West Java. On this occasion, members of the media had the opportunity to get a closer look at Wuling’s latest electric vehicle by exploring its interior and experiencing a short drive in the Aira ev. This activity was part of Wuling’s 9th anniversary celebration under the theme ‘Tumbuh Bersama Sebagai Keluarga’.

“Through this Media First Impression session, we invited members of the media to take a closer look at the Aira ev interior and experience a short drive in Wuling’s latest EV city car. We hope this opportunity provides an initial glimpse into the character of the Aira ev, which is designed to support everyday mobility with ease and practicality,” explained Aji Ibrahim, Product Planning of Wuling Motors.
With its compact dimensions, the Aira ev is designed to support urban mobility. This EV city car measures 3,268 mm in length, 1,550 mm in width, and 1,575 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,190 mm. Its compact dimensions are complemented by a four-door configuration that provides more practical access for both the driver and passengers. In addition, its 4.5-meter turning radius further enhances the Aira ev’s agility when maneuvering. For its suspension setup, the vehicle uses a McPherson suspension at the front and a 3-Link Coil Spring at the rear, along with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels.

Moving to the exterior, the Aira ev features an artistic design complemented by a two-tone body color option. Its visual character is further enhanced by rounded LED headlamps and rounded LED rear lamps, creating a distinctive identity at the front and rear of this compact electric vehicle. In addition, the Aira ev is equipped with an LED high-mount stop lamp and 13-inch wheels featuring a leaf clover design.
Inside the cabin, the Aira ev features a ‘Cookies and Cream’ interior theme that creates a distinctive look. The driver area is equipped with steering wheel controls for air conditioning and multimedia functions, a 10.1-inch head unit with smartphone interconnection, and a 7-inch instrument cluster. The Aira ev also features four-way seat adjustment to support driver comfort.
As an electric vehicle, the Aira ev is powered by a 30 kW electric motor paired with a 25.1 kWh battery. This configuration enables the Aira ev to travel up to 300 kilometers based on the CLTC standard. The vehicle adopts a Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) drivetrain configuration.
Complementing these advantages, the Aira ev is also equipped with a range of safety features to provide greater confidence throughout the journey. These include 2 SRS airbags, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Hill Hold Control (HHC), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), a rear parking camera and sensor, as well as an Electric Parking Brake (EPB) with Auto Vehicle Hold (AVH). Combining compact dimensions, an artistic design, modern features, and practical electric vehicle technology, the Aira ev is presented as an EV city car ready to accompany a wide range of activities and urban mobility needs.
