Wuling Holds Darion Handover Ceremony for Customers at Permata Bank GJAW 2025
The first MPV in Indonesia with dual electrification options now records 1,500 SPK (orders)
Tangerang, November 21, 2025 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) took part in the Permata Bank GAIKINDO Jakarta Auto Week (GJAW) 2025 held from 21–30 November 2025 at ICE BSD City. Wuling’s presence at the largest and most comprehensive year-end automotive exhibition reflects the brand’s consistency in presenting modern mobility solutions designed and produced in Indonesia.
Beginning its journey in Indonesia in 2017, Wuling has continued to expand its presence through its manufacturing facility in Cikarang, West Java. Now entering its eighth year, Wuling is supported by 150 dealership networks and has earned the trust of more than 170,000 customers across the country. This trust further strengthens Wuling’s position as one of the key players in the national automotive industry.

On this occasion, Wuling also highlighted the positive reception for Wuling Darion, the brand’s latest electrified MPV designed for modern Indonesian families. Since its launch, Darion has received strong enthusiasm through nationwide and regional launch activities. Its arrival marks an important milestone in the evolution of family mobility in Indonesia, emphasizing efficiency, comfort, and technology.
Introduced in an EV variant, Darion is equipped with the safe and high-performance Magic Battery Pro, capable of delivering a driving range of up to 540 kilometers. Its 150-kilowatt electric motor provides strong yet smooth performance, supported by DC Fast Charging capability that enables significantly shorter charging times. This EV variant broadens Wuling’s electrification lineup with a modern and environmentally friendly option for Indonesian families.
In addition to the EV variant, Darion is also available as a PHEV, making it the first PHEV MPV in Indonesia. This model is built on the Wonder Flexible Modular System (WFMS), designed to optimize battery capacity, fuel tank volume, and overall cabin space utilization. WFMS also enhances the driving experience with high safety standards. The platform is paired with the LING Power Hybrid System, ensuring Darion delivers energy efficiency, strong performance, smooth operation, and dependable capability across various driving conditions. The combination of these two technologies makes Darion PHEV worry-free for long-distance travel, efficient for daily mobility, and consistently comfortable for the entire family.

As part of the GJAW 2025 activities, Wuling also held a handover ceremony symbolizing the start of Darion unit deliveries to customers in Indonesia. During the event, Wuling presented a unit symbolically to a representative Darion customer, marking the beginning of shipment processes to various cities nationwide.
The year 2025 has been an important phase for Wuling, marked by the introduction of several new products, including the New Air ev, New Cloud EV, New BinguoEV, Mitra EV, and Darion, in both EV and PHEV variants.
