Wuling Holds DriveXperience 2022 with Regional Media Colleagues in Jakarta
Test drive experience with all the newest innovations from Wuling in one day
Jakarta, 29 November 2022 - Today, Wuling Motors (Wuling) held a media drive activity entitled 'Wuling Drive Xperience 2022'. Wuling invited media colleagues from various cities in Indonesia such as Medan, Makassar, Pekanbaru, Manado, Surabaya and Bali to experience the range of innovations in the Wuling product line launched throughout 2022. The product range consists of New Cortez 'Innovating Comfort Zone' in the MPV segment, Air ev 'Drive For A Green Life' as Wuling's first EV in Indonesia, to Almaz Hybrid 'Exciting Performance' in the SUV class.
“This is our step to provide first-hand experience to regional media colleagues regarding a series of innovations in the latest Wuling product lines this year. For example, voice commands in Indonesian, Wuling remote control app via the Internet of Vehicles, Advanced Driver Assistance System, electric vehicle, and hybrid innovations that can be enjoyed by consumers in all cities in Indonesia," explained Brian Gomgom as Media Relations Wuling Motors.

Taking the starting point at the Wuling Center, Pondok Indah, this event began with a presentation on product innovation from Wuling, an explanation of the route to the distribution of groups for each media. Various travel conditions could be felt during the journey in various chosen routes, ranging from the dense traffic in Jakarta, main roads, the Jakarta Outer Ring Road toll road, to the finish line in Pantai Indah Kapuk area. The recorded mileage is 100 kilometers and media colleagues tried the three Wuling product lines in turn.
Media colleagues who drove with the New Cortez have the opportunity to try Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND) technology, Internet of Vehicle (IoV), as well as distinctive driving comfort. Drivers are facilitated with vehicles connected via the internet network and also operating various vehicle features using voice commands. This Smart MPV is powered by an engine with a capacity of 1,500cc turbo. It also has qualified safety features to provide safe driving without hesitation.

Wuling Air ev is the first Wuling electric vehicle that comes with compact dimensions and a future-tech design. Electric vehicles that carry the tagline 'Drive For A Green Life', present environmentally friendly mobility for media colleagues who drive them to contribute to a greener environment. Air ev also offers a variety of conveniences, ranging from charging that can be done at home, guaranteed battery security, safety features with a sturdy frame and airbags that provide a sense of security when used, to IoV and WIND technology.

Furthermore, media colleagues can also feel the sensation of driving with Wuling Almaz Hybrid which emphasizes superior driving performance and efficiency. This vehicle has a 2,000cc petrol engine combined with an electric motor capable of producing 174 hp and 320 Nm of torque, and is supported by a 1.8 kWh capacity battery. The power output generated by this combination is delivered to the front wheels via Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT).
Apart from that, the intelligent system in Almaz Hybrid also produces a pleasant performance sensation with low noise and vibration levels. Then, the renewal of the Almaz Hybrid's interior further accentuates the premium and classy impression thanks to the use of Warm Beige nuances, a wide Panoramic Sunroof and Warm Beige Leather Seats, making every driving moment more enjoyable.
