Wuling Holds Exclusive Eksion First Impression Event with Media
A special occasion to experience the driving sensation of Wuling’s latest electrified SUV firsthand
Jakarta, April 18, 2026 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) held the ‘Exclusive Media Impression Wuling Eksion’ event with media partners yesterday (17/04) at Topgolf Fatmawati, South Jakarta. On this special occasion, media were given the opportunity to get a closer look and directly experience a short driving session with Eksion, Wuling’s latest electrified SUV.
Aji Ibrahim, Product Planning of Wuling Motors, stated, “Wuling Eksion is introduced as the first 7-seater SUV in Indonesia available in both Electric Vehicle (EV) and Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) technologies, providing flexibility for consumers based on their mobility needs. Eksion also becomes Wuling’s second product in Indonesia to adopt the latest platform, which is designed to deliver a balance between performance, efficiency, and comfort.”

In terms of dimensions, Wuling Eksion is a three-row SUV with a length of 4,745 mm, width of 1,850 mm, height of 1,755 mm, and a wheelbase of 2,810 mm. This proportion provides spacious cabin room in every row while supporting driving stability. Driving comfort is further supported by the use of McPherson suspension at the front and multi-link independent suspension at the rear.
Wuling Eksion presents a strong and dynamic SUV character through firm body lines and solid proportions. The front appearance is emphasized by a modern honeycomb grille (for the PHEV variant), combined with X-shaped automatic headlamps as a distinctive visual identity, along with X-shaped rear combination lamps at the rear. The premium impression is further strengthened by the use of 18-inch alloy wheels and two-tone color options in blue and white.
Moving into the interior, Wuling Eksion features a cabin with walnut brown and carbon black tones that create an elegant and modern impression. Comfort is supported by ventilated seats in the front row as well as electric seat adjustment for both the driver and front passenger. In addition, the presence of an electric panoramic sunroof enhances the sense of spaciousness in the cabin while delivering a more enjoyable driving experience for all passengers.

On the dashboard, Wuling Eksion is equipped with a leather-wrapped steering wheel with multifunction switches for ease of operation, supported by soft touch interior panel materials that enhance the premium feel. In addition, a 12.8-inch control screen and an 8.8-inch TFT multi information display are present, delivering a more modern, informative, and connected driving experience.
To support practicality, Wuling Eksion offers flexible space through second and third-row seat configurations that can be folded flat, resulting in a luggage capacity of up to 1,788 liters. This feature is also complemented by an electric power tailgate to ease access when carrying items.
In terms of performance, the Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) variant is powered by a 1.5L dedicated hybrid engine combined with an electric motor and Dedicated Hybrid Transmission (DHT). This combination produces 105 hp of engine power with 130 Nm of torque, along with an electric motor delivering 195 hp and 230 Nm of torque, supported by a 20.5 kWh battery, enabling a combined driving range of more than 1,000 km (based on CLTC testing).
