Wuling Introduces New Cortez, Innovating Comfort Zone, in Bali
The latest Wuling MPV is now equipped with WIND and IoV innovations now available in the Island of Gods
Denpasar, April 7, 2022 – After being introduced to the public virtually, Wuling Motors (Wuling) continued the launching series of New Cortez to various cities. Located at Mall Bali Galeria, Wuling officially introduced its newest MPV product line, New Cortez, Innovating Comfort Zone. This MPV which bears the Wuling Silver Logo is marketed in 2 variants, namely New Cortez CE and New Cortez EX with special launch prices starting from IDR 287,800,000 (with Wuling PPnBM subsidies).

Wuling New Cortez is equipped with a 10.25” head unit which adds to the comfort while driving. This device is installed as a travel entertainment device and also has various functions ranging from wireless MirrorLink connection, USB Fast Charging, Internet Connectivity, navigation, to the vehicle settings.
In terms of interior design, upgraded comfortable seats are presented on the New Cortez. Then, there is also a multipurpose seat tray that can be used for family and business trips, interior panels with a dark marble texture with luxurious nuances, and premium black semi-leather seats that make the cabin look classy. In addition,the automatic operation on all windows as well as anti-pinch have been added to this New Cortez.
Regarding the performance, Wuling Cortez relies on a 4-cylinder inline gasoline engine with a capacity of 1,500 cc with the support of a competent turbocharger that provides 140 HP of power and 250 Nm of torque. Delivering the power to the front wheels, Wuling New Cortez relies on Continuous Variable Transmission which makes the transmission shift smooth and responsive.

As the Cortez family, this latest MPV is also equipped with complete safety features to provide comfort and safety in driving. These features include a rear parking camera, front & rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder, Hill Hold Control (HHC), Auto Vehicle Holding (AVH), Dual SRS Front & Side Airbags, ISOFIX car seat, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), front and rear disc brakes, electric parking brake, Automatic Vehicle Holding, ABS deceleration system, EBD, BA, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), and anti-fatigue features.
New Cortez is available in four color options, namely Pristine White, Dazzling Silver, Aurora Silver, and Starry Black. Regarding the New Cortez after-sales service, Wuling provides a general vehicle warranty of 3 years or 100,000 kilometers, a warranty for main engine and transmission components for 5 years or 100,000 kilometers, free periodic service fees of up to 50,000 kilometers or 4 years, with terms and conditions apply.
