Wuling Invites Wuling Official Communities to Experience the Premium Comfort Driving with Cloud EV
WLCI, CI, WALI, WEVI, and Alvez ID get a special opportunity to experience Wuling's latest electric vehicle
Jakarta, May 4, 2024 - As a form of Wuling's appreciation for its official communities, Wuling Motors (Wuling) today invited representatives from Wuling Club Indonesia (WLCI), Cortezian Indonesia (CI), Wuling Almaz Indonesia (WALI), Wuling Electric Vehicle Indonesia (WEVI), and Alvez ID to explore the driving sensation of Cloud EV. In the event held at DoubleTree by Hilton Jakarta Kemayoran, all official Wuling communities had the opportunity to drive 3 Cloud EV units, then do the parking challenge with the All Around 360 Camera feature, and also experience the comfort of sofa mode which is unique to Wuling's latest electric vehicle.
Jeremy Timothy, WLCI's Public Relations Officer, had seen the exterior and interior of the Cloud EV before and was impressed with its exterior, making him even more curious about the features. "In addition to comfort, the Cloud EV also has many advanced features, including the Smart Electric Tailgate. This makes it very easy for Cloud EV users to access the trunk in various ways, from key detection, head unit, and voice commands. I appreciate Wuling for this innovative feature."

Stepping into the Cloud EV cabin, the community members felt the spacious legroom and headroom. Home-like comfort is even more pronounced with the support of Sofa Mode which allows users to rest in the cabin like sitting on a long sofa. Teddy Ichsan as Chairman of Cortezian Indonesia (CI) conveyed his impression when sitting back with Sofa Mode. "This sitting position with Sofa Mode allows me to relax and take a break. The comfort I feel is really like sitting on a long sofa. Moreover, the soft leather seats also make me feel more relaxed in the Cloud EV cabin," he said.

Furthermore, the 15.6" Intelligent Head Unit in the center of the dashboard managed to steal the attention of the official Wuling community with its larger size than the head units owned by all Wuling vehicle lineups. Moreover, its sophistication to become the center of vehicle feature control hub in Cloud EV also impressed the community members, including Anton, one of the members of WEVI, "The head unit is so wide! Setting various vehicle features can also be done easily in this head unit, from AC settings to driving modes. In my opinion, this head unit is very sophisticated and become the pioneer innovation in the Wuling electric vehicle line. With this Intelligent Head Unit, the appearance of the Cloud EV dashboard becomes minimalist and futuristic," said Hana Victoria.
Then, Wuling's official community also had the opportunity to try the parking challenge by relying on the All Around 360 Camera. Although the entire glass was covered with black window film, all community members were able to complete the challenge well with the 360 camera display appearing on the head unit. President of WALI, Jerry, said, “Initially I thought this challenge would be difficult to do because I could not see the surrounding conditions of the car from the rearview mirror, but with the help of the All Around 360 Camera, parking was easy to do. For me, this feature is very useful for checking the surroundings both for parking and walking because I have experienced it myself with Almaz. I am sure that driving with Cloud EV can also be safer and more comfortable with this feature.”
In addition to exploring the static units available, community members also tried driving the Cloud EV on Jl. Griya Utama to Jl. Benyamin Sueb. Safety while driving was maintained with the support of the active safety feature, the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Desi Paulina, one of the members of Alvez ID, shared his driving experience with Cloud EV. "Although the body is larger than the Air ev and BinguoEV, the Cloud EV can still maneuver easily. Besides that, driving also feels safe because the Cloud EV is equipped with ADAS. So far, I have felt calm and safe when driving with Alvez, which also has ADAS. Hopefully, Cloud EV users can also always feel calm and safe when driving with this electric vehicle," concluded Desi Paulina.
