Wuling Launched Cortez CT & Confero S ACT at IIMS Makassar 2019
Latest MPV Line-up from Wuling Now Available in South Sulawesi
Makassar, 1 May 2019 – Opening the launching series of Wuling Motors (Wuling) latest two MPV in various cities, today Cortez CT and Confero S ACT are launched officially at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) Makassar2019 event. Wuling collaborates with PT Kumala Cemerlang Abadi as partner dealers in Makassar introducing Wuling's flagship MPV line at Celebes Convention Center, Makassar. Cortez CT is offered from Rp. 247,000,000 to Rp. 297,000,000, while for Confero S ACT is offered at Rp. 206,800,000, both of which are prices on the road in Makassar.

“We introduce Cortez CT ‘The New Advanced MPV’ which is equipped with a turbo engine and ACT Confero S with e-clutch transmission as the latest variant that can complete the Wuling MPV product line. We hope that these two products can answer the needs of consumers in Sulawesi, especially in South Sulawesi,” Stanislaus Sutandy as Director Sales PT Kumala Cemerlang Abadi.
Wuling Cortez CT is equipped with a 1,500cc 4 cylinder engine with Turbocharger made by Honeywell. The result is a maximum power of 140 HP and 250 Nm of torque. In order to channel performance to the front wheels, Cortez CT has two transmission options, namely a 6-speed manual for type C or Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) available in types C and L.
New elegant ambience is felt in the interior of this medium MPV, supported by a spacious cabin space and captain seat 7-seater configuration that adds comfort. Not only that, various leading features also complement Cortez CT, such as the One Push Start / Stop Button, Keyless Entry, to Emergency Stop Signal (ESS). The color options marketed consist of Pristine White, Dazzling Silver, Aurora Silver, Starry Black and Burgundy Red.

On the other hand, Confero S ACT comes with an e-Clutch transmission from Schaeffler which facilitates the operation of a manual transmission without the clutch pedal and is efficient in maintenance costs. Besides the use of e-Clutch transmission, this MPV is also given a youthful touch thanks to the application of Black Ambience With Red Stitches and Red Carbon Style accents on the door panel and head unit.
Not only that, this MPV also offer comfort with a spacious cabin up to the third row. Wuling also presents a number of additional features ranging from Electric Adjustable Foldable Mirror, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS) to seat height adjuster drivers in the Confero S ACT. There are five color choices for Confero S ACT, namely Carnelian Red, Pristine White, Dazzling Silver, Aurora Silver and Starry Black.
In this year's IIMS Makassar event, Wuling brought the concept of 'Technology For A Better Life' by displaying 3 display units consisting of Almaz, Cortez CT, and Confero S ACT in booth J covering 144 square meters. For visitors who want to feel the sensation of driving with the Wuling product line, there are also 3 test drive units. Various attractive offers were prepared for visitors who made purchases during the exhibition with the applicable terms and conditions.
