Wuling Launches Aira ev, an Electric City Car That Combines Artistic, Innovative, Friendly, Safe
Aira ev is designed as an everyday electric vehicle while still delivering an enjoyable driving experience
Tangerang, July 29, 2026 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) officially launched Aira ev at the GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2026. Carrying the tagline ‘Fun Everyday, For Everyone’, Aira ev is Wuling's latest electric city car, designed to meet the evolving mobility needs of Indonesian consumers. Aira ev is available in two variants, Standard Range, offering a driving range of up to 205 km (CLTC), and Long Range, with a driving range of up to 301 km (CLTC), as well as three exterior color options, Starry Black, Galaxy Blue, and Milk Tea.
“The name ‘Aira’ is inspired by the English word ‘Air,’ symbolizing something close to everyday life, highly adaptable, and capable of delivering comfort to every journey. Through Aira ev, we aim to introduce an electric city car that not only meets the mobility needs of modern consumers but also delivers an enjoyable driving experience. This vision is embodied through four key pillars, which are Artistic, Innovative, Friendly, and Safe,” said Ricky Christian, Marketing Director, Wuling Motors.

Embodying its Artistic aspect, the Aira ev features a Neo Classic exterior design complemented by Ring Light Design LED at the front and rear, a two-tone body color, and 13-inch Four Leaf Clover Wheel Covers, creating a modern yet iconic appearance. This design philosophy continues into the cabin through the Fun Pod Interior Design concept with a Cookies & Cream color theme, offering a comfortable and cheerful interior ambiance to accompany everyday activities.
The Innovative aspect is reflected in technologies that make electric driving more convenient. The Aira ev is equipped with DC Fast Charging, enabling the battery to be charged from 30% to 80% in approximately 35 minutes. It also features a 10.1-inch control screen with Smartphone Interconnection, along with Internet of Vehicle (IoV) technology that allows users to access various vehicle functions through the MyWuling+ application.
The Friendly aspect of the Aira ev is reflected in features designed to support everyday mobility. With a 4.5-meter turning radius, the Aira ev offers excellent maneuverability on city streets and in tight parking spaces. Its four-door configuration provides convenient access for all passengers, while the luggage compartment offers up to 838 liters of flexible storage space for everyday needs. In addition, its affordable energy costs make Aira EV a cost-effective electric mobility solution.
Complementing these conveniences, the Aira ev is also engineered to provide peace of mind on every journey. The vehicle is built with a body structure comprising 60% high-strength steel and is equipped with Magic Battery Pro to enhance battery protection. Its safety features include Dual SRS Airbag, ISOFIX, ESC, HHC, ABS, EBD, Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), Auto Vehicle Hold (AVH), and TPMS.

To provide added value for consumers, Wuling is introducing the GIIAS Fun Package, which offers a variety of ownership benefits. This program includes a Free Lifetime EV Core Components Warranty and one year of free insurance for every purchase, whether made in cash or on credit. Additionally, during this event, customers also have the opportunity to receive shopping vouchers worth up to Rp2,000,000. All of these programs are subject to applicable terms and conditions.
To complement the launch of Aira ev during GIIAS 2026, Wuling is also introducing the exclusive Deal n Drive program for Aira ev Long Range customers.
