Wuling Launches Cloud EV, Driving The Future of Comfort, in Indonesia with IDR 398 Million
This environmentally friendly medium hatchback vehicle is locally produced and eligible for VAT incentives
Jakarta, May 15, 2024 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) officially launches and announces the price of its newest electric vehicle, Cloud EV in Indonesia today. In the launch ceremony held at Atrium Senayan City, Jakarta, Wuling officially revealed the price of this electric car in the medium hatchback segment, which is around IDR 398 million (price with VAT incentives for Jakarta Area). During the launch period, Wuling also offered a variety of attractive promos and held an exhibition until May 19, 2024.

The Cloud EV carries the tagline 'Driving the Future of Comfort' which prioritizes comfort and tranquility in an elegant style combined with driving innovations and advanced safety features to maximize the driving experience. The exterior appearance of the Cloud EV is inspired by its name, which means 'cloud'. This eco-friendly car is designed for families and individuals who seek driving comfort in elegant style. The Cloud EV also features smooth curves on the sides that blend the front and rear lights into a minimalist technological aesthetic.
A cabin space with home-like comfort is presented in the interior of the Cloud EV. The luxurious feel on the inside is supported by the Soft Touch Interior with classy Rose Gold Panels. With a very high space utilization ratio of up to 84.7%, the Cloud EV cabin is roomy and designed with seats that can be fully reclined into a comfortable long sofa. The Cloud EV is also reliable for families who carry a lot of luggage with the support of a trunk with a volume of up to 1,707 L and 18 storage compartments.
Traveling with Cloud EV is comfortable and enjoyable with the support of modern features such as an All-Around 360° Camera, Smart Electric Tailgate, and 15.6" Control Panel that allows users to set various vehicle functions and access entertainment features. Furthermore, complete safety and security support features on Cloud EV are ready to maintain safety and tranquility while driving.
The Cloud EV brings further travel with a sense of comfort. This is supported by the battery capacity that is capable of traveling up to 460 km. Moreover, the IP67-certified Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery has been tested for quality and durability with zero reports of self-combustion. Battery charging can also be done easily at home with AC configuration or at public charging stations with AC or DC fast charging systems. CloudEV is also supported by comprehensive safety features to support the safety of both drivers and passengers.
