Wuling Makes Price Adjustments for its Products with PPnBM Subsidies
Announced official Almaz RS OTR price and PPnBM subsidies from Wuling for Almaz RS, Almaz & Cortez CT.
Jakarta, 03 June 2021 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) today informed the official OTR price for the Almaz RS marking the end of the launch period of the smart SUV. The intelligent digital car with Wuling Interconnected Smart Ecosystem (WISE) and Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND) innovations is now being marketed from Rp. 365,800,000 (OTR Jakarta). In addition, Wuling also provides PPnBM subsidies of 50% for the Almaz RS series, Almaz series, and also the Cortez CT series in accordance with government policy to continue to make it easier for customers to acquire SUV and MPV products.
“As the launch period of Almaz RS is ending, in the beginning of this month we are announcing the official OTR price of our flagship model to the public. We would like to express our gratitude to customers for the warm welcome towards our product which is shown by the good vehicle order and sales figures since its launch as well as the positive appreciation from the media for this smart SUV," Michael Budihardja as Brand and Marketing Director of Wuling Motors explained.
As an Intelligent Digital Car, Almaz RS is presented as a Rising Star in the SUV segment with WISE innovation that combines two feature groups, namely the Internet of Vehicle (IoV) and the Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS). IoV functions to connect vehicles with users through finger touch. On the other hand, ADAS integrates four functions category with 12 features to help users to get a unique driving experience that is safe and comfortable. The first advanced Indonesian voice command feature, WIND is also embedded in the Almaz RS. Well equipped with these advanced innovation, Almaz RS was awarded the prestigious titles as Car of the Year and Best High SUV Gasoline at the 2021 OTOMOTIF Award.
Besides the new price for Almaz RS, Wuling also provides PPnBM subsidies for its three products, Almaz RS series, the Almaz series, to the Cortez CT series. This is done to provide more convenience for consumers to own a product line from Wuling and participate in economic recovery in the midst of the current pandemic. The subsidy is expected to provide support to drive the Wuling product segment in the Indonesian automotive market.

Wuling Almaz is presented in the medium SUV segment with a 1,500cc turbocharged engine with a choice of CVT and manual transmissions (specifically for the Smart Enjoy variant). This SUV is equipped with the first advanced voice command innovation that uses Indonesian, the Wuling Indonesian Command, which makes it easier for consumers to access various vehicle features. In the medium MPV segment, Cortez CT comes with a similar engine that produces a maximum power of 140 HP and 250 NM of torque supported by a smooth CVT transmission with a choice of manual transmission for types C and S. This vehicle maximizes user comfort with a spacious cabin, captain seat configuration, and other supporting features.
