Wuling Motors Launches Over-The-Air Service for Almaz RS
Continue innovating to provide unlimited driving experience with the flagship SUV with OTA innovation.
Jakarta, October 29th 2021 – To make it easy for Almaz RS 'Drive Unlimited Way' owners in updating the Wuling Interconnected Smart Ecosystem (WISE) system, Wuling presents an Over-The-Air (OTA) service which starts operating today. This service allows Almaz RS users to perform system updates anywhere and anytime through MyWuling+ application.
“Wuling Almaz RS as an Intelligent Digital Car also provides it with innovative after-sales services, including through Over-The-Air (OTA) services. Through this service, we present a hassle-free and time-saving way for Almaz RS customers to update the system in their hands. This innovation is a form of sustainability effort and Wuling's commitment in accelerating the Wuling IoV system which aims to meet mobility needs while providing easy driving for Almaz RS users," said Taufik S. Arief, Aftersales Director of Wuling Motors.

Regarding OTA, this service allows drivers to download the latest system updates wirelessly with the support of SIM card network or other internet access. The customers also don’t need to download the Almaz RS system update at the dealer, but it can be easily accessed anytime and anywhere through MyWuling+ application which can be operated via smartphone.
To use the OTA service, Wuling will send an update notification through the MyWuling+ application if there is any new system update. These updates can be downloaded anytime and anywhere as long as the user is connected to the internet. Furthermore, updates that have been stored on the user's smartphone can be connected directly to the Almaz RS head unit which will automatically detect the latest version update. Then, users can confirm the installation and the new system can be used right away.
Regarding the Almaz RS, this smart digital vehicle has been presented in Indonesia since last March as a Rising Star equipped with various leading driving technologies in its class. Almaz RS is equipped with Wuling Interconnected Smart Ecosystem (WISE) which combines Internet of Vehicle (IoV) technology and Advanced Driving Assistant System (ADAS) with 12 main features. The first advanced voice command innovation using Bahasa Indonesia, Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND), is also present in Almaz RS.

Now, the OTA service is available on MyWuling+ app. Customers can download the MyWuling+ app on the Google Play Store to immediately get system updates via OTA service.
