The Smart MPV with Wuling Silver Logo is starting to be marketed to the consumers in North Sumatra
Medan, April 13 2022 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) continues the launching series of its newest MPV, New Cortez, ‘Innovating Comfort Zone’ at Center Point, Medan. The MPV that embeds the Wuling Silver Logo is now supported by modern innovations, namely the Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND) and the Internet of Vehicle (IoV). There are two variants for the New Cortez, consisting of the New Cortez CE and New Cortez EX. Regarding the price, Wuling sells New Cortez with a special launch price starting at IDR 280,300,000. (with PPnBM Wuling subsidy).

Regarding the upgrades of the Wuling New Cortez, they can be seen from its interior. Wuling made improvements to the comfort aspect of the seat and also added a multipurpose seat tray that can be used for family or business trips. Then there are dark marble textured panels on the dashboard and door panels as well as the use of premium black semi-leather seats that exude the luxury and classy aura.
Inside the New Cortez cabin, there is a 10.25” head unit which adds to the driving comfort because this device is capable of wireless Mirrorlink, USB Fast Charging, Internet Connectivity, and Navigation to vehicle settings. In addition, this MPV has added automatic operation on all windows complete with anti-pinch.
Wuling New Cortez is powered by a 1.5L petrol engine with Turbocharged. Its ability to produce a maximum power of 140 HP at 5,200 pm and provides 250 Nm of torque at 1,600 rpm to 3,600 rpm. All of this performance is channeled via a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) with a smooth and responsive shift to the front wheels.
Speaking of driving safety aspects, New Cortez is equipped with a rear parking camera, front & rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder, Hill Hold Control (HHC), Auto Vehicle Holding (AVH), Dual SRS Front & Side Airbags, ISOFIX car seat, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), front and rear disc brakes, Electric Parking Brake, Auto Vehicle Holding, ABS, EBD, BA braking systems, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), to anti-fatigue warning.

New Cortez has four color options to choose from. Starting from Pristine White, Dazzling Silver, Aurora Silver, and Starry Black. This latest MPV is also supported by complete after-sales services, starting from a general vehicle warranty of 3 years or 100,000 kilometres, a warranty on main engine and transmission components for 5 years or 100,000 kilometers, free periodic service fees of up to 50,000 kilometers or 4 years.
