Wuling Officially Presents The Exterior & Interior of The New Almaz RS at GIIAS 2023
Visitors could witness in person and pre-order the latest medium SUV from Wuling during the exhibition
Tangerang Regency, 10 August 2023 – Today, Wuling Motors (Wuling) officially presents an update of its medium SUV, which is embodied in the New Almaz RS. This product line, which carries the tagline Drive Unlimited Way, was exhibited for the first time at the GIIAS 2023 event through updates on the exterior and interior. Visitors could also see and submit a pre-order of the New Almaz RS at the Wuling booth, GIIAS 2023.

Continuing Wuling's commitment to Continuously Presenting Endless Innovation (Terus Hadir Dengan Inovasi Tanpa Akhir), we applied a new touch to the medium SUV which has complete innovation to answer consumer needs for modern mobility and be able to provide a limitless driving experience," explained Dian Asmahani as Brand & Marketing Director of Wuling Motors.

Wuling New Almaz RS comes with a new look on the exterior and interior. On the exterior, this SUV maintains a modern and futuristic impression but combines a new design with the New Glossy Black Front Bumper & Grille. Apart from that, a new touch is also embedded in the rear bumper of the New Almaz RS which is now even more classy with the Wuling letter emblem as an identity that replaces the logo that was previously pinned on the Almaz rear door. This smart SUV from Wuling also utilizes 18-inch alloy wheels with a sporty new design.
Moving to the cabin, the New Almaz RS carries the New Classy Carbon Black Interior Style with a configuration of 7 passenger seats wrapped in elegant synthetic leather. The futuristic impression is even more prominent from the new glossy soft touch panel on the dashboard and the New Sophisticated Multicolor Ambience Light in several parts of the cabin. The New Almaz RS is even more comfortable to drive with the tilt and telescopic steering wheel which allows the driver to adjust the steering wheel position as desired. The Panoramic Sunroof is still there for New Almaz RS users to enjoy.

Modern innovations remain the signature of this medium SUV family that has been present in Indonesia since 2019. First, the advanced voice command feature in Indonesian, Wuling Indonesian Command, which is ready to help users easily access various settings in the car. Then, the Wuling Remote Control App which connects the user with the vehicle to monitor and access vehicle control via the MyWuling+ application and the Head Unit. Then, the driving experience is also supported by ADAS which consists of 4 function categories, namely Adaptive Cruise, Lane Recognition, Safe Distance and Braking Assistance, and Automatic Light with a total of 12 features that support safety in driving.
The Wuling New Almaz RS made its first appearance with two variants, namely 1,500 cc turbocharged with smooth and responsive CVT transmission for the New Almaz RS Pro, while the 2,000 cc hybrid engine with Dedicated Hybrid Transmission which has high performance and efficient applied to the New Almaz RS Hybrid. The difference between the two in general lies in the blue accents on the front grille and the embedding of the hybrid logo on the tailgate.
"Today, we are also opening orders for visitors who are interested in the smart medium SUV with this new look. Regarding the price range of the New Almaz RS, it is no more than the current Jakarta OTR price of Almaz RS and Almaz Hybrid which are at Rp439.200.000 and Rp472.000.000 respectively. The pre-book period lasts until the beginning of the 4th quarter in 2023," Dian Asmahani added.
The official presence of Wuling New Almaz RS will be available for public at booth 9B, Hall 9, Indonesia Convention and Exhibition (ICE) BSD City from 10 to 20 August 2023. Visitors could see directly the exterior and interior appearance of the New Almaz RS along with other Wuling product lines and enjoy various programs available during the exhibition.
