Medan, 7 April 2021 – After being launched several cities, today Wuling Motors (Wuling) launches its newest product, Almaz RS 'Drive Unlimited Way' in Medan, to be precise at Plaza Medan Fair. This flagship SUV is equipped with sophisticated innovations ranging from the Wuling Interconnected Smart Ecosystem (WISE) to the first advanced Indonesian voice command, the Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND). There are two variants for consumer choice consisting of EX and Pro with 5-seater and 7-seater seat configuration options.

Wuling's newest SUV is given the affix "RS" after the name Almaz which means Rising Star. This naming symbolizes Almaz RS as the flagship model of Wuling which carries the latest technologies such as the Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND) and Wuling Interconnected Smart Ecosystem (WISE) as well as modern exterior and interior appearance styles. This makes a different driving experience, and is also supported by comfort and safety features that are competitive in its class, making this product a Rising Star.
WISE technology is a combination of two feature groups, namely the Internet of Vehicle (IoV) and the Advanced Driver Assistant System (ADAS). IoV can connect users with vehicles via MyWuling + and head units supported by voice commands in Indonesian, Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND). Meanwhile, ADAS is here to provide convenience and comfort while driving with Almaz RS which is divided into four parts, namely Adaptive Cruise, Lane Recognition, Safe Distance & Braking Assistance, and Automatic Light.
The latest SUV from Wuling also gets a new look, starting from modern accents through dynamic designs that can be seen from the integrated future eyes LED, futuristic grille to dynamic tail design. Turning to the interior, Almaz RS is also equipped with a modern cabin design coupled with a wireless charging pad feature, a built-in air ionizer, updates to the head unit display, as well as several additional buttons on the steering wheel that help users to activate various functions. To pamper consumers, Almaz RS is equipped with a variety of other supporting features such as a panoramic sunroof, start-stop button, 360o Camera, Electric Parking Brake (EPB) and Auto Vehicle Holding (AVH), as well as complete safety features in its class.

At this launch, Wuling also held an exhibition and provided a test drive opportunity until April 11, 2021 by implementing health protocols during activities both at the exhibition and in the test drive.
As additional information, Wuling provides a special program in the form of a subsidy for Almaz RS during the launch period until April 30, 2021 and provides free periodic service fees for up to 50,000 kilometers or 4 years with terms and conditions applied. Wuling is also supported by a network of dealer outlets that are ready to serve consumers in Medan and its surroundings, namely Wuling Arista Medan Ring Road, Wuling Arista Medan SM Raja, Wuling Arista Medan Cemara, Wuling Arista Pematang Siantar, and Wuling Arista Rantau Prapat.
