Presenting Formo Blind Van and Formo Max as light commercial vehicles that can be the choice of entrepreneurs
Jakarta, 7 March 2024 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) today for the very first time participated in the largest business to business (B2B) commercial vehicle exhibition in Indonesia GAIKINDO Indonesia International Commercial Vehicle Expo (GIICOMVEC) 2024. In its debut, Wuling brought along its light commercial vehicles, the Formo series consisting of Formo Blind Van and Formo Max at booth A2, Hall A, Jakarta Convention Center, Senayan. This participation emphasizes Wuling's commitment to deliver quality products and answer mobility needs for both the passenger and commercial vehicle segments.
"We bring the spirit of Drive For Better Life in Wuling's participation at GIICOMVEC this year. We present that spirit in the form of transportation solutions to answer the needs in various segments in the Indonesian automotive market, including commercial vehicles to support businesses. Therefore, in participating in this event, we present the Formo series, which means 'shaping', as our answer in the light commercial vehicle (LCV) segment that is ready to help you in the mobility of business activities," explained Brian Gomgom as Public Relations Manager of Wuling Motors.

In the GIICOMVEC 2024 event, Wuling occupied an area of 130 square meters in booth A2, Hall A, Jakarta Convention Center, Senayan. In that area, Wuling displayed three display units consisting of 1 unit of Formo Blind Van, 1 unit of Formo Max, and 1 special unit of Formo Max that has been cared for as a Shop Car. Wuling also provided 1 unit of Formo Max that could be felt by visitors in the test drive area.
Wuling began its strides in the commercial vehicle segment in November 2018 by launching the Formo series, Bikin Usaha Makin Nyaman, for the first time in Indonesia. One of the variants presented in this exhibition, Formo Blind Van, carries a spacious cargo space, a quiet cabin and minimal vibration due to the engine in front, to other features such as Meter Cluster with MID, head unit, and air conditioner (AC) to support the comfort of business mobility. Formo Blind Van is equipped with a 1,200 cc engine that channels power to the rear wheels with a 5-speed manual transmission.

In addition, Wuling also offers an LCV line in the pickup segment, namely Formo Max, which was launched in early 2023. This pickup, which carries the tagline Enteng Bikin Untung, has the widest cargo area in its class with a three-sided opening configuration that facilitates access in and out of cargo. The performance of this pickup is supported by a 1,500cc 4-cylinder engine with a 5-speed manual transmission. This LCV is also equipped with various driving features such as Electric Power Steering, Foldable Remote Key, head unit with radio and USB, adjustable headrest, and Power Windows. The safety features include disc brakes on the front wheels, ABS & EBD, seat belt with automatic retracting and locking system, driver seat belt reminder, and anti-theft alarm. Formo Max comes with Standard and AC variants.
"In addition to the two display units, we also feature one Formo Max unit that has been cared for as a shop car. This special unit is displayed to inspire consumers that Formo Max can be customized to support your business activities," said Brian.
