Wuling Partners With DHL Supply Chain Indonesia For Parts Inventory Management

Tangerang, November 29, 2024 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) and DHL Supply Chain Indonesia officially announced their partnership today at the Mandiri Utama Finance GAIKINDO Jakarta Auto Week (MUF GJAW) exhibition. Taking place at Wuling's booth in Hall 10, ICE BSD City Tangerang, this collaboration focuses on managing the spare parts availability at Wuling's warehouse in Cikarang through integrated human resource management and information system technology.

The partnership was officially marked by the symbolic handover of a Wuling key, followed by the signing of a memorandum of understanding by Arif Pramadana, Vice President Wuling Motors and Matthias Gehrsitz, President Director of DHL Supply Chain Indonesia. The signing ceremony was also witnessed by Maulana Hakim (Aftersales Director Wuling Motors), Ricky Christian (Marketing Operation Director Wuling Motors), Brandon Zou (Operation General Manager of DHL Supply Chain Indonesia), and Andrew Tobing (Operation Director of DHL Supply Chain Indonesia).
The partnership sees DHL Supply Chain Indonesia providing professional services that include precise data management and streamlined supply chain operations. These measures ensure the continuous availability of spare parts, allowing Wuling Motors to meet customers’ demands efficiently and effectively.

DHL Supply Chain Indonesia manages operations within the Supplier Park located at Wuling's factory in Cikarang, which spans 5,000 square meters with a capacity to handle between 500,000 and 600,000 spare parts. These operations include receiving goods, conducting quality control to ensure items match the order list, sorting goods into designated categories, picking and gathering ordered items, packing orders to ensure safe delivery, and dispatching goods ready for shipment.
The inventory management handled by DHL Supply Chain Indonesia at Wuling's Supplier Park encompasses spare parts with varying usage cycles, including fast-moving parts that require frequent replacement and routine maintenance, as well as slow-moving spare parts that do not require regular replacement or maintenance. This comprehensive inventory management supports the entire Wuling vehicle line, from conventional internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles to hybrid and electric vehicles (EVs).
