Wuling's New Variant With Competitive Price Starts to be Marketed North Sumatera
Medan, 25 August 2020 – After being presented in several cities, Wuling officially introduced Cortez CT Type S for customers in Medan today. Wuling collaborates with dealer partner, PT Arista Jaya Lestari, to launch this new Cortez CT variant. For citizens in Medan, Cortez CT Type S is offered with on the road price started at IDR 215.000.000 with two transmission and seat configuration options.
"Wuling's new variant, this Cortez CT Type S is presented to give powerful and comfortable driving experience with a competitive price. Moreover, this variant could be a vehicle option for a family who is looking for MPV and to support the company's operational," said Sulistyo Nugroho, Regional Sales Manager Wuling Motors.
Completing the Cortez CT series, Wuling Cortez CT Type S is supported with a 4-cylinder 1.500cc gasoline engine with Turbocharger that is able to produce a maximum power of 140 HP and 250 Nm of torque. Provided with two transmission options, which are 6-speed manual transmission and a smooth and responsive Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). These engine and transmission options are the same as Cortez CT Type C and L, which have been marketed earlier.

Various driving facilities are also offered by this new MPV variant such as Keyless Entry, One Push Start/Stop Button, Remote Open Windows and Trunk, and Anti-Theft System. Moreover, the Cortez CT type S variant is also equipped with other facilities such as the ABSdeceleration system and EBD, ISOFIX, dual SRS airbags, Advanced 8” Entertainment System, Rear Parking Camera, Rear Disk Brake, Audio Steering and Call Button, and up to USB charging.
