Wuling's New Variant of MPV with Competitive Price Starts to Be Marketed in East Java
Surabaya, 7 September 2020 - After being presented in several cities, Wuling officially introduced Cortez CT Type S for customers in Surabaya, East Java, today. Wuling collaborated with dealer partners, PT Arista Jaya Lestari, PT Putra Perdana Indoniaga, and PT Berkat Langgeng Sukses Sejati, to launch this latest Cortez CT variant. For Surabaya citizens, Cortez CT Type S is offered with on the road (OTR) prices starting from IDR 216,000,000 with two transmission options and seat configuration.

Complementing the Cortez CT series, Wuling Cortez CT Type S is supported by a 4-cylinder 1.500cc gasoline engine with Turbocharger which capable of producing maximum power of 140 HP and 250 Nm of torque. This Wuling MPV equipped with two transmission options, which are 6-speed manual transmission and a smooth and responsive Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). Regarding the engine and transmission options, it is similar to the Cortez CT Type C and L which have already been marketed.

Various driving facilities are also offered by this latest MPV variant such as Keyless Entry, One Push Start / Stop Button, Remote Open Windows and Trunk, and Anti-Theft System. Not only that, the Cortez CT type S variant is also equipped with various other facilities, including ABS and EBD deceleration systems, ISOFIX, dual SRS airbags, Advanced 8” Entertainment System, Rear Parking Camera, Rear Disc Brake, Audio Steering and Call Button, to USB charging.
