Wuling Presents New Cortez, Innovating Comfort Zone, in Jakarta
The latest Wuling MPV equipped with WIND and IoV innovations is showcased at Mall Kelapa Gading
Jakarta, April 12, 2022 – After a virtual launch on March 24, 2022 and also being present at the IIMS Hybrid 2022, Wuling Motors (Wuling) again presented New Cortez, Innovating Comfort Zone, at the Wuling Mall Kelapa Gading exhibition. This latest MPV from Wuling carries the Smart MPV concept supported by the Internet of Vehicle (IoV) and smart Indonesian voice command, Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND), as well as classy comfort with a multifunctional seat tray.

The upgrades of Wuling New Cortez are shown in its interior. Wuling has upgraded the comfort aspect of the seats and the addition of multipurpose seat tray that can be used for family and business trips. Then, a dark marble texture on dashboard and door panel and premium black semi-leather seat exude luxury and classy aura.
In New Cortez’ cabin, there is a 10.25” head unit which adds to the comfort when driving. It is because this device also has various functions ranging from wireless MirrorLink connection, USB Fast Charging, Internet Connectivity, navigation, to vehicle settings. Furthermore, this latest Cortez has added automatic operation on all windows as well as anti-pinch.

Wuling New Cortez is powered by a 1.5L petrol engine with Turbocharged which able to produce a maximum power of 140 HP at 5,200 pm and provides 250 Nm of torque at 1,600 rpm to 3,600 rpm. All of this performance is channeled via a Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) with a smooth and responsive shift to the front wheels.
Regarding safety aspect, this latest MPV is also equipped with rear parking camera, front & rear parking sensors, seat belt reminder, Hill Hold Control (HHC), Auto Vehicle Holding (AVH), Dual SRS Front & Side Airbags, ISOFIX car seat, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), front and rear disc brakes, electric parking brake, Automatic Vehicle Holding, ABS deceleration system, EBD, BA, Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), and anti-fatigue features.
New Cortez is available in four color options, namely Pristine White, Dazzling Silver, Aurora Silver, and Starry Black. Regarding the New Cortez after-sales service, Wuling provides a general vehicle warranty of 3 years or 100,000 kilometers, a warranty for main engine and transmission components for 5 years or 100,000 kilometers, free periodic service fees of up to 50,000 kilometers or 4 years.
