Wuling Provides Training for 300 Air ev Drivers to Support the G20 Summit
Equip drivers with basic introduction and practice driving in various situations with Air ev
Denpasar, 7 November 2022 – Continuing the preparation of Air ev as an environmentally friendly mobility partner at the G20 Summit, Wuling Motors (Wuling) held training for 300 drivers on November 4-7, 2022 at the Wuling Jimbaran Pool. All the drivers were given a basic introduction to the Air ev, the theory of use, to the practice of driving in various situations and road conditions. The presentation materials and driving training were given directly by experts from Wuling to the drivers to prepare every driver to serve the mobility of delegates and participants during the G20 Summit.
"Continuing our full support as an Official Car Partner at the upcoming G20 Summit, we are also equipping and preparing human resources to become Air ev drivers who will be at the forefront. We held this training session so that the mobility of the delegates and participants of this international conference can run smoothly and well," said Dian Asmahani as Brand and Marketing Director of Wuling Motors.

The training staff from Wuling explained a basic introduction to the Air ev which will be used by 300 drivers to support the upcoming G20 Summit. The drivers were also provided with information about the operation of the first electric car from Wuling, including the Long Range and Standard Range variants. The socialization includes starting the vehicle, operating driving features, using transmissions, driving modes, to safety features.

In addition to getting exposure through the presentation of the training team from Wuling, each driver was also given an information module about Air ev which of course can be used as a guide for the drivers to provide the best service in supporting the mobility of delegates and participants of the upcoming G20 Summit.

Other thand the introduction of the specifications, technicalities, and driving features of the Air ev, the driver team prepared for the G20 Summit also received briefings on the safety features available on the Air ev. One part of the equipment is the availability of light fire extinguishers (APAR) which are prepared in each Air EV unit that will be used throughout the event.

Before driving, the drivers were introduced directly to the Air ev electric vehicle that will be used during the G20 Summit. The introduction also includes remote key operation on the Long Range variant with Keyless Entry and Smart Start System that make it easy to unlock and start the Air ev.

Guided directly by trainers from Wuling, Air ev drivers who will participate in supporting the mobility of delegates and G20 Summit participants also received hands-on driving training. Thus, the drivers have good readiness to drive Wuling Air ev.

At the Wuling Jimbaran pool, the training team has provided a test drive area equipped with several artificial terrains for driving simulations in various situations. It was done to prepare drivers to provide the best service for the delegates and participants of the upcoming G20 Summit.
