Wuling Shows Cloud EV Exterior and Interior for the First Time to the Public at IIMS 2024
After the success of Air ev and BinguoEV, Wuling is preparing to step into the next electric vehicle innovation, the Cloud EV
Jakarta, February 15, 2024 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) reaffirmed its steps in the era of green mobility by displaying the exterior and interior of its latest electric vehicle, Cloud EV, for the first time at the Indonesia International Motor Show (IIMS) 2024. In this exhibition event which is being held until February 25, Cloud EV is specially presented for visitors who want to take a closer look at the latest electric vehicle from Wuling at booth D8 located in Hall D, JIEXPO Kemayoran.
"We are grateful for the trust of consumers who make Wuling the number 1 electric vehicle brand in Indonesia. Domestically, Wuling has been active in the electric vehicle segment since 2022 and received a warm welcome by becoming the best-selling EV brand in Indonesia. We also produce our entire line of electric vehicles in a factory located in Cikarang, West Java. All Wuling EVs have also obtained TKDN of more than 40% following applicable regulations. Not only in the domestic market, Wuling's electric vehicles also penetrated overseas with exports to various countries. Based on data, Wuling is the only manufacturer in Indonesia that exports electric vehicles," explained Arif Pramadana as Vice President of Wuling Motors.

Wuling's move in the EV segment is based on the spirit of 'Drive For A Green Life' which begins with the Global Launch of Air ev in August 2022. Wuling's first EV in Indonesia is a simple, smart, efficient compact city car with a range of 200 km to 300 km and is now the Best Selling EV in the country. Then, Wuling continued its steps by presenting BinguoEV at the end of 2023. BinguoEV as an electric car with a range of 333 km up to 410 km that is stylish, iconic, and spacious has also become the most favorite in the EV hatchback segment. Wuling continues to be committed to answering the increasingly diverse needs of electric vehicles and is now realized with the first appearance of the next EV innovation in Indonesia, Cloud EV which has a range of 460 km to 505 km.

Inspired by the meaning of its name, a cloud that reflects the beautiful softness of nature, the Cloud EV is an electric vehicle that prioritizes comfort. This eco-friendly car is designed for families and individuals who seek comfortable driving in an elegant style. Wuling Cloud EV appears with larger dimensions than the previous two Wuling EV products, namely Air ev and BinguoEV. This electric vehicle in the medium hatchback segment has a dynamic and light impression on its exterior.The Cloud EV also features subtle curves on the sides that integrate the front and rear lights as a minimalist blend of technological design.
Moving on to the interior, the Cloud EV features an elegant black pearl cabin design. The cabin of this electric vehicle also feels classy with the presence of a 15.6-inch head unit and 8.8-inch MID, as well as high-quality leather lining the dashboard, armrests on the door trim, and center console.
Both the driver and passengers can feel more comfortable with the spacious cabin with a 5-seater configuration. Italian Bubble Sofa Style upholstery inspired by the softness of clouds also adds to the comfort of home. The front seats can be reclined to the maximum and the rear seats can be reclined at a maximum angle of 135° so that the entire seat resembles a long, comfortable sofa for users to rest on.
