Wuling Starts Almaz RS Media Experience Activities in Makassar
Together with local media partners, get to know more and enjoy the driving experience with WISE
Makassar, April 12, 2022 – Wuling Motors (Wuling) today held 'Wuling Almaz RS Media Experience' at Wuling Kumala Pettarani, Makassar. In this event, Wuling invited regional media colleagues in Makassar to find out more about Wuling Interconnected Smart Ecosystem (WISE) innovation that is embedded in Wuling's flagship SUV, Almaz RS. On top of that, media partners also had the opportunity to try first hand these various innovations, ranging from the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), Internet of Vehicle (IoV), to the first Indonesian-language smart voice command, Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND).

Talking about the innovations in Almaz RS, starting from the Internet of Vehicle (IoV). Facilities that connect users with vehicles through internet connectivity through MyWuling+ application and head units. The IoV has various features that can be managed via MyWuling+ application, ranging from Vehicle Positioning, Vehicle Remote Control, Geo-Fencing Security, to Bluetooth Key. Meanwhile, users can access Online Navigation, Online Music, and Internet Messaging App via the head unit supported by WIND.

Furthermore, the Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) is an innovation that provides convenience and comfort while driving. ADAS in Almaz RS is divided into 4 categories, which are Adaptive Cruise, Lane Recognition, Safe Distance & Braking Assistance, and Automatic Light with a total of 12 features. This technology supports driver alertness so that it can reduce the risk of accidents that may occur while driving.
Shift to Wuling Indonesian Command (WIND), this first smart Indonesian voice command allows users to turn on, turn off, or operate various vehicle functions including air conditioning, windows, and a panoramic sunroof. This voice command system can also access a variety of entertainment such as music or radio, make phone calls, run applications, increase or decrease volume, as well as ask for the date and time.
For other driving features, the Almaz RS is accommodated with complete modern features. Starting from wireless charging pad, panoramic sunroof, start-stop button, 360o Camera, Electric Parking Brake (EPB), Auto Vehicle Holding (AVH), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Hold Control (HHC) Anti-lock Braking System ( ABS), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Immobilizer, Airbags, to Emergency Stop Signal (ESS).
Thanks to the variety of innovations and features that Almaz RS owned, this Wuling SUV has received a great appreciation. This is evidenced by the many awards given to the product line. Such as The Best Innovation from Carvaganza Editor's Choice Award 2021, Best of High SUV Gasoline Otomotif Award 2021, Car of The Year Otomotif Award 2021, TOP innovation Choice Award 2021 from TRAS N CO Indonesia and INFOBRAND.ID and the latest award, Best of High SUV Gasoline Otomotif Award 2022 which was announced in early April.
As additional information, the Almaz RS performance sector is supported by a gasoline engine configured with a 1,500cc turbocharged 4-cylinder that is competent to produce a maximum power of 140 HP and 250 Nm of torque. This capability is distributed through the CVT which makes gearshifts smooth and responsive.
